What do you get when Hollywood and politics meet?  The White House Correspondents’ Dinner.  Everyone from celebrities to presidential hopefuls gathered for an extravagant evening in Washington D.C.  Let’s see what they wore!

Kerry Washington stayed true to her style in a classy, black one-shoulder dress by Victoria Beckham.  She kept the look simple with black sandals and a small black clutch.

 

Supermodel extraordinaire Kendall Jenner hit the red carpet in a black Vivienne Westwood gown with a sweetheart neckline.  She accessorized with a diamond choker and black strappy sandals.

Lais Ribeiro smized in a Sophie Theallet tangerine one-shoulder silk gown with open back. Hot!

Tracee Ellis Ross was definitely one of the best dressed for the night wearing a black Jovani V-neck gown and long fringe earrings.

 

Helen Mirren used the White House Correspondent’s Dinner as opportunity to pay homage to Prince on the red carpet.  She wore a boat-neck, purple lace Dolce & Gabbana gown accessorized with a purple Prince tattoo on her chest.

 

Emma Watson went for a bold print on the red carpet.  The actress wore a red and blue floral, sleeveless dress and black pants by Osman Studio.  Pants aren’t the popular choice for these kind of red carpet events but Emma makes this look work.  Definitely a favorite!

 

Emily Ratajkowski dazzled in a forest green, long sleeve Monique Lhuillier gown with floral detailing.  Favorite look of the night!

 

Adriana Lima’s red Juan Carlos Obando gown showed the perfect amount of skin.  The mock-neck, cold-shoulder, high slit combination was tastefully done.

 

Gabrielle Union’s sparkly navy blue and black gown by Naeem Khan gave her a bold red carpet look.

 

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith showed off their killer smiles (and tans) on the red carpet.  Jada showed just how flattering satin can be in her royal blue, one-shoulder gown.

 

Vivica Fox gave Hollywood glam in a white and silver Jenny Packham gown and beautiful chandelier earrings.

Lastly, Priyanka Chopra gave her black, Zuhair Murad gown a sultry look.  I appreciated bare neck on the plunging neckline.

Karrueche Tran attended the Grand Opening of Intrigue Nightclub wearing a Misha Collection black Claudia dress and DSquared2 12 CM Satin High Heel Sandals with Jewel detail:

The black, crepe jersey material, dress features angular lines that meld harmoniously with a striking high neckline. The back of the dress has a high slit.

 

On her feet, Karrueche wore a pair of 12 CM Satin High Heel Sandals with Jewel Detail:

The black sandals feature satin straps and an extravagant jeweled pendant that covers the outer part of the shoes.  The elegant sandals are equipped with a leather sole and buckle fastening at the ankle.

Simple, classy look.  Hot!

Kanye West walked through the streets of New York City wearing a $1,625 Yeezy Season 1 Brown and Green Camouflage Jacket:

The textured, long sleeve, lightweight canvas jacket features a green and brown camouflage pattern along with a drawstring at the hood and hem. The pull-over jacket has a zip closure at chest and flap pockets with press-stud fastening at the waist.

Kerry Washington tended to her duties as TV’s greatest fixer at a Scandal-ous! Event in D.C. For the occasion, she went classic in a $500 La Ligne Black and White Bardot Dress:

Her black and white frock features side-seam pockets, a tech jersey bodice, and a cotton skirt. It was made in NYC.

A bit of tailoring to the bodice and a little less highlighter in the makeup department would’ve made this look so chic!

I’ve been M.I.A. this week but I had to take a quick sec to get into some of our favorite looks of the week. Trust me, the competition is fierce!

1) Ariana Grande in Christian Siriano

Singer/actress Ariana Grande was on hand for the TIME 100 Gala while rocking a black statement-making gown by Christian Siriano. The strapless number also features dramatic tulle accents and a fitted waist. The fashionista accessorized her look with an on-trend diamond choker and her signature high ponytail. Werk!

2) Marlo Hampton in Atsuko Kudo

Marlo Hampton flaunted her enviable bod via Instagram in a red Atsuko Kudo latex strapless dress that screamed “I slay all day!“. To top of her look, the style maven also donned a black harness (which also serves as a choker) and black Gucci Victoire sandals. Yeesss hunttyyy!

3) Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab

Next up, we have Jennifer Lopez! The superstar shut it down as she hit the streets in a spring-ready periwinkle mini dress by Elie Saab and stunning silver Casadei pumps. Jenny’s frock also includes a high neck and long sleeves. (FYI: I’m still looking for deets on her hand bag, lol!) But, nonetheless, she looks absolutely amazing. C’mon legs!

4) Karrueche Tran in Acler

Karrueche Tran is everywhere, right?! The it-girl/model took a quick moment to pose for Instagram as she rocked a triple-tiered black maxi dress by an Australian brand known as Acler. I’m all for a simple black dress- I mean, you can do no wrong! But, in this case, it was refreshing to see an innovative take on the classic piece. And, shout-out to Bryon Javar on the impeccable styling!

5) Bonang Matheba in Gert-Johan Coetzee

I’m seeing red all over again! South Africa’s own Bonang Matheba shut it down for her followers as she gave us all kinds of life in an embellished red gown by Gert-Johan Coetzee. The floor-grazing frock uplifts a sheer-bodice, ruffle detailing at the hips and loads of color. And, the makeup? Flawless! Ya’ll better stop sleeping on Bonang!

6) Reginae Carter in Color Menae

Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter attended prom this past weekend and she was every bit of chic! The 17-year-old kept it classic and cool as she chose a strapless metallic gown by Color Menae. I’ve seen so many revealing (and questionable) prom dresses over the past few days but this pick was a breath of fresh air. And, the linear detailing is everything! Miss Reginae pulled it all together with a gold purse, drop earrings and soft curls. Slay on!
