That Rihanna reign just won’t let up.
While the artist tours with her Anti album, LVMH has announced that their Kendo division has inked a deal with the Bajan princess to help develop her beauty brand. And while it won’t be coming our way this year, the pair have the project on a Fall 2017 release schedule.

We first got wind of a possible Rihanna makeup brand back in 2014 when the singer and growing mogul trademarked a ton of categories for the name Fenty. Amongst those were lingerie, nails, clothing, apparel and makeup. Back then she was still collaborating with other brands like MAC. The lipstick she made with them sold out in three hours and ended with Rih Rih being a face of the brand. She’s also worked with Viva Glam

In what is reported to be as high as a $10 million deal, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is set to be the third color cosmetic deal for Kendo. Her predecessors? Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty according to WWD. “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience,” David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo said. “We are aiming for the stars.”

We’re expecting some bold lip products and a ton of beautiful imagery. Are you excited for the launch?

“I decided a long time ago that I wasn’t going to let my past decide who I was,” was one of the most powerful quotes of the video, which also reveals the beauty in these women who are opening the door, through their own stories, the issue of mental health and addiction in the Black community. While we can sit and discuss how beautiful these women physically are or covet the locs of hair that fall from their crown, I would say the true beauty lies in the fact they represent hope for other young people in similar situations. That we are not byproducts of our past…we possess the magic to create our future.
