Taking a note from J. Lo’s myriad style changes at the American Music Awards, Ciara gave us loads of glamour at last night’s Billboard Award, wearing custom creations and scintillating gowns from a host of designers.
Take a look:
She arrived at the festivities in a form grazing silver dress from Philipp Plein’s Spring 2016 collection.
Could she get any hotter?
She continued the metallic tones backstage in a Naeem Khan Fall 2016 gown.
Check her out on stage:
Bomb!
She switched over to gold in a metallic dress with sequin embroideries and a deep V neckline from Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2016 collection, accessorized by Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
I love to catch Lupita out because I know she’s never going to disappoint! She stepped out yesterday to attend the New York Drama League Awards, clad in a grey and white stripped Monse Fall 2016 dress:Even though her dress is not currently available, similar models of the beautiful pinstripe number came down the Monse runway. Lupita’s dress features horizontal stripping in the bodice and vertical striping down the skirt.I love the look and how chic and timeless it feels. Ah, Lupita. <3
Rihanna had a pretty big night while attending the 2016 Billboard Music Awards!
Upon her arrival, the songstress rocked (and shocked) as she donned a vintage Thierry Mugler Spring 1988 Brown Blazer Button-Up Dress and custom mules by Manolo Blahnik.
There were tons of mixed reviews (and social media wasted no time in grilling Rih for her choice of attire) but, as usual, she rocked one of the most unexpected looks on the red carpet! And, that’s why we love her. The girl just know how to keep it fresh, lol.
Her 80’s power look was also accented with diamond jewelry and a short ‘do.
The Bajan beauty also took the stage in another vintage creation! She performed a flawless version of her soul-stirring single “Love on the Brain” while uplifting a Thierry Mugler 1980 Seafoam Green Marabou Tuxedo Blazer and Selima Optique sunnies.
She kiillleeddd this performance!
And, I loved the honesty of her vocals. It literally sent chills down my spine!
She looks gorg, no?!
After touching nearly every heart in the house, Rihanna also won Billboard’s Chart Achievement Award. She accepted the prestigious honor in an on-trend Dries van Noten Fall 2016 Animal Print Slip Dress which boasts bronze metallic detailing and a relaxed silhouette.
The runway version featured was paired with suede footwear, exaggerated eye makeup and a furry purple choker.
Rih glammed up her version of the dress by adding diamond hoop earrings and matching bracelets. Hot!
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards are underway! With Ciara and Ludacris hosting the big night, it is shaping up to be one for the books…along with a lot of great outfit changes.
Let’s get into the night’s ensembles!
Kelly Rowland looked like every bit the goddess in a silver embellished illusion Labourjoisie gown. In a word: perfection.
Zendaya gave a flash of abs in a custom Calvin Klein mesh bandeau and matching high-waist, floor-grazing skirt. Ms. Coleman always gets it right.
Ciara shimmered and sparkled in a silver Philipp Plein gown. She never disappoints!
Rihanna was clad in a chocolate-hued vintage Thierry Mugler number with a button-front and boning—anchored with buckle-accented Manolo Blahnik mules. Not her finest look, but her hair and makeup are always on point.
Priyanka Chopra was a blue dream in a sultry Versace halter number with a knot accent and leg-baring slit. She’s stunning.
Ludacris and Eudoxie were easily one of the event’s best dressed couples in classic ensembles, with the night’s co-host in an Armani suit.
Jessica Alba served up dark romance in a black velvet embroidered, turtleneck Zuhair Murad mini dress and black suede Stuart Weitzman thigh-high boots. I liked this!
Laverne Cox brought the drama in a black, lace bodice gown with a deep v-neckline and form-fitting silhouette. This was fab.
Ariana Grande slipped on an Atelier Versace gown for the occasion.
Serayah showed off her toned abs in an asymmetric bandeau and high-waist silky trousers.
The Empire cast was definitely in the building! Bryshere Gray uplifted a white t-shirt and black trousers with a brocade blazer and glossy loafers.
Wiz Khalifa’s white, shawl-collared shirt, rust textured pants, and white Converse kicks were refreshing.
Before hitting the stage for an epic medley of her hits, Britney Spears posed in a barely-there Reem Acra black lace gown. Her body? Werk Brit!
Keke Palmer was svelte in a berry-hued latex House of Harlot dress. Not too keen on the hair choice here, but I loved the dress.
Kate Beckinsale was white hot in a figure-hugging Hamel gown with an illusion neckline and strappy pseudo sleeves. I live for her style.
Liz Hernandez was pretty in pink in a blush peplum, bustier-inspired gown. Hot!
A sequin-embellished, turtleneck midi dress from Michael Costello was Meghan Trainor’s look for the evening. She’s never looked better!
Halsey dared to bare in a colorful Fausto Puglisi gown with a plunging neckline, side cutouts, and thigh-high slits. A lot of details to digest, but she pulled it off.
Fifth Harmony were uniform in sexy spins on the timeless LBD. I love these girls!
Demi Lovato layered a tweed blazer over a sheer lace top and high-waist, wide-leg trousers. Black leather, fingerless gloves complemented her chic ensemble.
While Angela Simmons went for a metallic dress by RAAAH, Rocsi paired her sandals with a black slash House of CB Ramona dress, paired with a a soft coral red.
Let’s talk about these bad boys real quick, shall we? The shoe sports a suede crisscross and features an iridescent wing detail in the back. The shoe sports a 3.25′ heel, has a patent leather trim and is open-toed!
So who wore it better? My vote is for Rocsi! Who do you think?
Alessandra Ambrosio stunned during the premiere of The Last Face during Cannes Film Festival in a Zuhair Murad Spring 2016 Couture beaded jumpsuit:
The strapless beaded jumpsuit features a nude overlay with a tulle net-covered skirt. Embroidered with climbing 3D flowers, the sheer jumpsuit gives off an elegant, regal look.
Alessandra completed her ensemble with a diamond necklace, diamond studs and a bun worn loosely at the top of her head.
I love that this is not a traditional jumpsuit yet it’s appropriate for the setting. Hot!
Friday evening the stars of the hit prime time television show ‘Empire’ attended their FYC ATAS Event at the Zanuck Theater in Los Angeles. As if the cast isn’t already stylish on screen, they made sure to show off their fashionable threads on the red carpet.

Terrance Howard erred on the casual side in a pair of black slacks, black tee and a button up shirt. His signature hat completed his look.
Serayah’s electric blue DSquared2 suit fit her perfectly. She accessorized her ensemble with an Edie Parker clutch and Stuart Weitzman sandals.
