Happy Friday fam!

I’ve been glued to my laptop since I woke up, lol!

I have a little bit of a “relaxed” day planned so I figured some writing would be the best way to make me feel somewhat productive, lol. Anywho, this week was filled with some memorable events and the slayage was beyond real. From the 7th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala to the highly-anticipated 2016 CFDA Awards, there were plenty of potential fashion contenders to choose from.

So, join me as we review some of Fashion Bomb Daily’s favorite celebrity ‘fits!

1) Beyonce in Givenchy

Queen Bey had a legendary week, didn’t she? As the recipient of the 2016 Fashion Icon Award, the superstar gave one of the most touching speeches while paying mad respect to her both her grandmother and mother. For the occasion, Beyonce slayed (allll daayy) in a custom embellished Givenchy striped suit, a sheer ruffled lace blouse, her signature ultra wide-brimmed hat and peep-toe platforms. So glam!

2) Karrueche Tran in Gucci

Karrueche Tran shut down the amfAR Inspiration Gala red carpet while donning a silky vintage Gucci gown and a pair of Versace ‘Medusa’ ankle strap sandals. The fashionista’s sultry frock also boasts a draped effect, a plunging neckline and a sky-high slit. She accented her look with bomb gold accessories and a slicked back hair. Hot!

3) Alesha Dixon in Alesha Dixon x Little Black Dress

Last week, British star Alesha Dixon made an appearance in our Look of the Week feature in a design from her recent collaboration with the brand Little Black Dress. And, she’s back this week with another one! The television personality/singer was seen at the 2016 Glamour Women of the Year Awards while wearing her own Mini A-line LBD, an edgy choker and simple metallic sandals. Cute!

4) LaLa Anthony in Fendi

The 2016 CFDA Awards were chock full of sartorial surprises! As the stars flaunted some of the most influential designers, they proved that the power of style stems from much more than the colors, textures and cuts. With that, LaLa Anthony was on hand looking absolutely ravishing in a printed flowy number number by Fendi. The television personality also chose a metallic belt and Gianvito Rossi leather sandals as the finishing touches. Yes ma’am!

5) Lindsay Lohan in Elisabetta Franchi

Whelp! It looks like Lindsay Lohan has re-emerged! The stunning actress was spotted out and about with gal pal Kourtney Kardashian in a red and blue Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2016 Fringe Mini Dress and metallic heels. If you’re a lover of fringe (like me), you already know that the movement is insane! So, I can only imagine how gorgeous this piece was in person. I’m here for it!

6) Christina Milian in Rhea Costa

LBDs will never go out of style – no matter what the ‘hottest trends’ are. And, Christina Milian is walking proof! The singer/actress showcased the overall elegance and sophistication that only a black dress can display while rocking a one-shoulder Rhea Costa gown at a recent Deadline event. I love how she took the ensemble up a few notches with a fiery red lip! She looks amazing!

7) Mel B in Laquan Smith

The lovely Mel B hit up The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as she showcased her enviable bod in a Laquan Smith Fall 2016 Blue Sheer Midi Dress. The long-sleeved wonder uplifts silver undertones, a textured pattern and a rounded neckline. Although the piece itself is completely transparent, Mel layered her version over a nude bodysuit. Genius styling, no?

Last night, the 7th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala was held in New York City and, per usual, the stars slayed left and right in their best designer duds. The guest list was also pretty impressive – with a slew of tastemakers, influencers, models, tv personalities and (of course) some of fashion’s finest, it was certainly a night to remember.

Let’s take a quick look at what they wore!

Queen Naomi Campbell graced the red carpet while donning a black Azzedine Alaïa gown that features sheer panels and a sleek silhouette. Yes!

Fashionista Karrueche Tran was also on hand in a vintage Gucci draped dress and Versace Medusa ankle wrap sandals.

Sudanese beauty/model Mari Agory served up eclectic vibes in a magenta and gold print number. She’s my new fave! How gorgeous is her skin?!

Power couple Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union looked impeccable as well! While the stylish basketball star rocked a tailored statement blazer, Gabby went incredibly chic in a two-toned halterneck gown by Prada.

Model Selita Ebanks slipped into a delicate white ruffled Francesco Scognamiglio gown and hard-to-miss-earrings. Go girl!

As ya’ll known, I’m a sucker for anything involving loads of color, sequins and a flawless fit. So, Hawa Diawara slayed my entire life when I spotted her on the red carpet! The Malian stunner was a total vision in a royal blue showstopper that featured a geometric  front cut out and structured shoulders. Werk!

Our next style maven chose to shine bright for the occasion! The lovely Maya Jones was a breath of fresh air as she flaunted a glorious Zac Posen strapless cocktail dress and shimmery silver sandals.

Alek Wek was all smiles while flashing a little leg in a multicolored, floor-grazing pick.

And, Jason DeRulo rocked his cornrowed man bun.

J. Lo attended a Television Academy event yesterday in LA to promote her newest work ‘Shades of Blue’, clad in an $1,125 Elie Saab lace long sleeve top, pink pants, and a pair of stunning Christian Louboutins:

Her top sports a plunging cut down the front, covered with pink lace. A pussy bow tie is also around the collar, and her shirt extends with long sleeving.

Both her top and pants are from the the Pre-Fall 2016 collection and definitely sport a feminine look! If you’re down for the splurge, and need a little pink in your life, you can score the top here!

The Fragrance Foundation Awards were held in New York City last night as stars attended to honor the year’s noteworthy scents.  Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross was in the building, dressed in a Paule Ka Pre-Fall 2016 Black Double-Breasted Suit and a pair of $742 Gucci ‘Angel’ Red Platform Pumps.

 With a wide pique lapel, front sash enclosure and a cropped silhouette, Tracee’s jacket offers a touch of modernity with this evening look.  Her pleated wide-leg trousers are hemmed perfectly, allowing for easy movement and giving us a peek at her shoes. Tracee’s Gucci ‘Angel’ Platform Pump features a towering six inch heel and a stacked 2.4 inch platform.  The almond cap-toe, T-strap vamp and polished red leather add the right amount of pop to any ensemble. Without a doubt, Tracee Ellis Ross has definitely proven herself to be a front runner in these never ending style wars.  And this time was no different.  Hot! A subtle smokey eye, nude lips, statement earrings and rings and a side part with perfect curls elevated her look effortlessly.  And what’s more?  She styled herself. Well, to that, we say, SLAY, TRACEE!

After finishing another flawless show, Beyonce was caught in an adorable moment with her daughter Blue Ivy while rocking a Givenchy 2016 Mint Green Animal Print Peplum Blazer, a Cutout Ruffle Hem Midi Skirt and a sleek low bun.

The eccentric ‘fit was presented with a matching chain handbag and kitten heels from the brand.

Trayvon Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton and his brother Jahvaris also stole a quick pick with Queen Bey! Talk about epic!

Our girl Rihanna literally glowed as she left Giorgio Baldio last night! The songstress effortlessly uplifted an eye-catching $2,577 Dolce & Gabbana Floral Kimono Mini Dress, blue nail polish and pointy silver mules.

The glamorous topper includes a Italian-infused forest-green, fuchsia and burgundy floral-brocade. It also boasts a cotton touches of cotton, silk and is smoothly lined in stretch-satin. And, let’s not forget about the waist-defining belt!

Both style mavens rocked the frock with gold-tone ankle wrap sandals.

The look was uplifted with fishnet stockings and eye-catching pumps during the brand’s Spring 2016 presentation.
