It’s crafted from stretch bandage fabric and includes a long back zipper for closure.

This isn’t my favorite look from the beauty as the fit seems a tad off, no?

One of my favorite mediums for finding new content is Youtube! But, as an avid Youtube AND beauty junkie, I constantly find myself dismayed by the constant lack of brown girls in beauty circles on Youtube. A few years back, I stumbled on one Youtuber, however, who has since blossomed in more ways than one: Jackie Aina. Jackie Aina is not only a beautiful woman of color on the outside, but she radiates warmth and personality in every video she makes. Not only does she make you feel at home, but she uses her expertise to teach you about skincare, current products that are worth the splurge, proper makeup applications and everyday makeup hacks to look flawless every time!A Youtuber with over 700k subscribers (I was following Jackie back when she had only 35k), Jackie is now a woman who can be seen working with big brands like Loreal, spotted on the video channels of Refinery29, be a Youtube Change Ambassador (working for women’s and minority rights) and just constantly being a fresh face in the world of beauty.She can show you how to make your makeup work for you, that brown girls don’t have to shy away from bright colors, and how to FIX YOUR LIFE while offering insight form the things she’s learned. I have definitely learned a thing or two from Jackie, even if it’s just to be relentlessly fearless in my goals and aspirations as a woman of color in this industry.Some of my favorite videos of Jackie have included her How To guide for color correcting (which can definitely get tricky when you’re browner hued):

Priyanka Chopra promoted hit TV show Quantico at the 2016 ABC Upfront in a Dion Lee Tan Braided Suede Dress:

Priyanka swapped in silver pointed-toe pumps for the runway’s strappy gold sandals.

This $142 House of CB Alanis Copper Vegan Suede Sleeveless Dress is a similar style in a deeper brown.

And this $68 Peace + Love Faux Suede Zip Detail Pencil Dress is also a great option.

Not too keen on the shoe choice here, but the dress is fab. And that face? Priyanka is stunning!

Cuba is literally about to be the place to go for Summer 2016 (hey, a girl can dream, right?).

Although we saw sneak peeks of celebrity privilege long before the recent border openings, we’ve definitely seen an influx in Cuban love from celebrities looking to get over into the festive streets and bask in the ambiance of Cuban culture.

Needless to say, Cuba has become a huge destination for everyone looking to get a little sun, have a lot of fun, and immerse in another culture that, for so long, was removed from American politics and opportunity.

 

Stars, like Carmelo Anthony, Rihanna, Usher, Marjorie Harvey, Ludacris, and even the First Family have taken advantage of the vast riches of Cuban life and culture.

But let’s see whose been to Cuba and exactly what they wore (maybe you’ll grab some style inspiration for your upcoming trip).

Sultry songstress Jazmine Sullivan performed at Bally’s Rodeo Drive in the brand’s $950 Parvia Leather Sandals and a $450 DKNY Gold Pleated Skirt:

The gold, polyester, pleated skirt has an elastic band at the waist and a concealed zipper in the back.

The metallic silver leather sandals have a contrasting gold heel and crystal embellishment on the toe strap. The heel gives an illusion of a stiletto from the side, yet has the stability of a chunky heel.

She completed her ensemble with a white DKNY button down shirt, a Bally belt and clutch.

Kim Kardashian shined bright like a diamond at the De Grisogono party during the Cannes Film Festival wearing a Lan Yu Couture dress from their Crystal Collection:

The silver, sparkly, sleeveless gown features sheer side panels on each side that connect the front of the dress to the back of the dress by draping jeweled links.

Kim wore De Grisogono teardrop diamond earrings and slicked her hair back in a tight bun.

I personally loved this new, polished look that Kim has been rockin’ lately.  Hot!

Dynamic mother-daughter duo Marjorie and Lori Harvey hit up the Steve Harvey Show to discuss the secret to their incredibly fit bodies.  Marjorie showed off her tone physique in a Gucci Resort 2016 Chantilly-Lace Embroidered Dress while Lori opted for a Givenchy $1,290 Leopard Print Fitted Dress:

Marjorie’s black, long-sleeve dress features embroidered black chantilly lace with hand-applied embroidered patches.

Lori’s nude, silk-blend, leopard print, knee-length dress has a round neck, long sleeves, an invisible back zip fastening and a straight hem.

Mother-daughter goals!  Both ladies wore nude shoes and minimal accessories.

Such a fan of these two and their stylish ways.  I say HOT!
