Perspex heels have caught on like a flame to a match! And, it’s almost impossible to escape their wrath. We’ve seen some our favorite fashionistas (including Victoria Beckham and Anna Dello Russo) rock this edgy accent while effortlessly killing it.

Dior shook the fashion scene with their iconic patent ankle boots while Yeezy even released his own perspex lovelies that retail for around $500 (YIKES!). I also found it funny that the Fashion Bomb Daily writers are equally enthused about this statement-making trend – I swear, we all purchased the SAME Public Desire versions, lol!

Tony Award winning actress Cynthia Erivo can’t quite seem to escape any reference made to the Broadway hit, The Color Purple, that catapulted her career into stardom.  The British beauty walked the purple carpet in London for Aladdin: The Musical while wearing a Giles Deacon Spring 2015 Laster Cut Floral Neckline Sleeveless Dress.

 In variegated shades of pewter, magenta and gold, this gown features an ornate neckline festooned with floral appliqués. The laser cut full skirt continues the floral motif, almost in a patchwork like pattern without evoking too much of a gaudy aesthetic.

 Well, you can most certainly count on a celebrated thespian to bring the drama, and this gown was the perfect choice for Cynthia. With her blonde buzz cut and radiant skin, this look is definitely befitting of a woman who can handle any bold look. In a nutshell, Cynthia slayed. Taraji eschewed the runway’s striped socks and sky-high platforms for simple black pumps that let the showstopping dress play centerstage.

Heidi Klum was spotted in NYC in the same $845 Stella McCartney Stretch Denim Overalls both Jourdan Dunn and Hilary Duff have already worn:

Heidi paired the denim all-in-one with $139 Michael Kors Playa Norte Sunglasses and a Birkin. A white t-shirt and Adidas kicks were Jourdan Dunn’s accents. And last, but not least was Hilary who wore it similarly to Heidi with no top underneath.

The 70’s-inspired overalls feature snap-fastening shoulder straps, a fitted bodice, wide legs, and pressed creases.

The beautiful and pregnant Kerry Washington stopped by Washington, D.C. to attend the Wonen’s summit clad in a white Hugo Boss Fall 2016 dress, $760 Maje Bonnielace-lined leather jacket and $995 Christian Louboutin ‘Pyrabubble’ Heels:

Originally seen down the runway, Kerry’s dress sports a beautiful sleeveless component while also exposing a flowey hemline.Her covetable moto jacket is made of lambskin leather, features a small high neck collar, shoulder tabs and lapels with press studs. Chic and definitely rocker girl friendly!

Lastly, her ‘Pyrabubble’ louboutins sport a 2.75″ heel, are embellished with goldtone and gunmetal-tone pyramid studs, and feature ankle straps and an open toe.Ya’ll know I love me some Kerry Washington and she wears pregnancy so well! I also am in full support of this outfit choice, though I don’t have the coinage for it (yet).
