All we have is Tyra’s say-so which could have been skewed simply because Naomi didn’t treat her like a long lost sister. Just cos you’re in the same industry and black doesn’t mean automatic friendship. And I doubt Nay had any power over Tyra not getting jobs.
That quote could have just been left out of the story it gave a nice story a sour note.
