Loza Maléombho>’s Spring 2015 collection melds African traditions with Western ballet and circus culture.
For her latest, Maléombho takes cues from Zaouli dancers from the North Ivory Coast, reflected in the showing’s ruffles, stripes, and square prints.
Traditional wax and Kente fabrics come to life on tailored skirt suits, jackets, and tops with unexpected back, shoulder, and side cut outs.
Even more bold, modern elements are witnessed by neon fanny packs and flat criss cross sandals; Maléombho brings the continent back to her design, however, via West Africa inspired brightly hued palm trees embedded on burlap separates.
Spring 2015 is quite an adventurous one, though I can see myself wearing this printed two piece to death:
Love it!
I can also see Solange Knowles rocking the stuff out of pretty much everything.
What do you think?

Great bold prints and the cut of each piece is perfect!
I like some of the pieces individually.
