Now that the 2016 Met Gala has concluded, let’s get down to the business: the actual Costume Institute designs. Manus x Machina takes on fashionable feats, done both by the hands of expert artists in ateliers all over the world and those completed by sewing machines and the like.
Couture is a huge focus, with designs from Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, and many others on display. Andrew Bolton curated the extravaganza and as you have already guessed, he’s a genius!
Lines for the Costume Institute’s exhibits are always incredibly long, so buy your tickets now here.
