MIAMI, July 2022 – With their runway event for Miami Swim Week 2022, Hekka and Uplive created a big splash last Sunday on Miami South Beach. Hekka expertly showcased its Spring-Summer ’23 collection alongside over 200 other well-known fashion labels at the largest swimsuit fashion show in the world. This year’s Miami Swim Week focused on natural shapes, sustainable fabrics and ethical manufacturing as designers from over 70 countries presented their visions for next summer’s must-haves.Over 20,000 summer fashion addicts working for retail platforms, media, or designers attended the four-day event.

Uplive provided the digital platform for attendees to share their experience, unique style and talents, as well as connect with their audience and supporters. The impressive crowds descended on the iconic Miami South Beach to enjoy a week full of runway shows, VIP parties, and exclusive events. With the app’s global user network, the coverage of Miami Swim Week 2022 already managed to surpass 2 million media impressions, creating organic publicity for both brands, as they continue to work closely on delivering unique events for the fashion community.

While celebrating its 6th anniversary last month, Uplive revealed that their continued growth, as well as the success of all other brands under the Asia innovations Group (Uplive’s parent company) is all due to the continued efforts to foster human connection and expand the reach of talented creators in fashion, performing arts and content creation.

On a sun-soaked even on Sunday (17/07) Hekka launched “Style de Vie”, their 25-piece capsule collection of swimwear, beach dresses and accessories. Their new collection is bringing some of the hottest, most versatile designs to the affordable swimwear market as a follow-up to their celebration of inclusivity, sustainability and diversity at NYFW.  The line followed the ethos of the brand to support emerging fashion designers, natural fabrics and sustainable clothing.

The catwalk saw models in all shapes and sizes, sporting natural hair and makeup – all looks were ready to move from the runway straight to a beach party. They presented bikini sets in summery corals, ocean blues and fiery reds, as well as classic line one-piece swimsuits in elegant patterns.

“Style de Vie” also featured were classic black and neutral tone pieces with structured and string tops and high waist bikini bottoms. The new line presented color-block cover ups, flowy sarongs and effortlessly chic robes and maxi dresses.

This marked the second collaboration between Hekka and Uplive this year following the success of NYFW 2022. The growing partnership between Uplive (the leading global video platform) and Hekka (a unique “real-time fashion” platform) leveraged the impressive grip Miami Swim Week had on the fashion world this week to reach bigger audience than ever.
