Today’s Bombshell is Sabla from Queens, New York:

She says, “[My style is] an eclectic mixture of the past meeting with the present…”

“…men’s attire…”

“…and a huge dash of African / tribal prints.”

” My style isn’t bound to one definition in my opinion…”

“There are probably more ways I can describe my style.”

“[See more of my looks at] www.sablagoldensense.blogspot.com.”

What are your thoughts on Sabla’s eclectic steeze?

  1. I def see the 70s and 80s, and there are pieces I would rock, but I’m a more simplistic gal, she is really doing the most!

  2. Is it just me or does it seem like these “bombshells” try too hard to be fashionable? Fashion should be effortless. Just because you mix a bunch of stuff together does not make it fashionable or haute. Then the photoshoot photo submissions….***sigh*** what happened to the naturalness of it. I just can’t with everyone trying to be a model.

  3. Doing the most? eh…. I beg to differ. Girl is hawt and her fashion appears to be real unlike several of the fashion bombs that have a few “fashion” pieces and want to call themselves fashionable. Fashion seems to be her lifestyle and it appears to be quite effortless.
    3 snaps.

  4. To me fashion is art. And no one sees art the same its all about expressing yourself not trying to look the same I like it. Except the sunglasses…not feeling those on her.

  5. I admire her looks. They seem very original and she seems confident. However she seems like she planned these looks a bit too much. They don’t come across as her style, but more of “let me try the look I saw on that manikin..”

  6. I think today, fashion bomb has started out with someone young and fun. This is not quite my taste but looking at Sabla, she is having fun with her style. I love her African bag.

  7. I love the mix of pieces from urban to vintage. I think this is what she likes to wear and it is her style. When I look at mannequins at urban or any store I don’t see this. That saying I would like to see a her step it up a notch with some color and some color on her lip. She has beautiful skin she needs to showcase it.

  8. Pretty accurate description of her style, but I’ll pass, it doesnt quite do it for me.

  9. She’s beautiful! I would pass on the outfits, but she definitely has her own style.

  10. Meh. Seen worse. What’s bugging me is the lighting in the photos. I really hate it when people add these lighting effects. They look like they are trying too hard to make it look artsy.

  11. I really like her I remember when you made a post about Fashion’s Night Out and she was in it I love her style I can so see us chillin one day :)

  12. #icant with the style…but she wears it with so much confidence I’ll give kudos to her just for wearing a buncha bs like it’s the hottest thing since sliced bread. My favorite thing about this submission was when it ended.

  13. I personally think there is a difference between a fashionable person and a stylsh person. And lately the Bombshells have been goin either way. Anyone can buy the latest trend and make it work, but a stylish person gets up and goes to their closet and puts on what they want to make a statement to the world with, and its effotless. Everyone will not like it but i would rather see this than everyone walking around with the same forever 21 dress/shirt in a different color worn the same way. Being stylish is not for everyone to agree upon but with confidence it can be achieved by everyone.

  14. It’s just all types of confusion going on. It’s like I just don’t get it, but I do get it. I get it, but I’m not feeling it. A good weave would do you wonders or just rock your natural hair. I just don’t know. :(

  15. I love this Bombshell because I feel like she’s being exactly who she is, she’s really comfortable with her style and that speaks volumes. :-)

  16. Not bad at all…I could live without the high socks and glasses though…..everything else is cool :)

  17. Style is different from fashion, and this girl has style AND is very very fashionable, I totally love it, I’d love to have that blue sweater in the second picture, it looks awesome. Even though her outfits are clearly planned and put together, it’s really beautiful. She puts lots of effort in being herself and being very unique, this is not what I’ve seen with lots of the previous bombshells. I really admire this episode :)

  18. I love anybody is isn’t afraid to rock a style, but I really can’t deal with forced pictures! Your style isn’t all about the clothes, its everything together. Although I hate to say this, and it’s nothing against this beautiful young lady! I cannot with a passion stand those john lennon glasses! I get it, everybody wants to be cool, but to me they are kinda like prop pieces, unless you are going to get for a special look with the camera lens then okay. I really want the ladies who do style pictures to be natural, go out amoung friends and snap some pictures of your style as a whole!

  19. “eclectic mixture of past meets the present…men’s attire…african/tribal prints…”
sounds just like a description of Forever 21’s current stock to me. Cute enough, though. *shrugs*
