  1. The only look I love is the one in the pleated dress. Head to toe fab. The rest is a bit plain.

  2. She looks lik Kelly Rowland n the black dress. I like it. The dress is my fav w/pleats. I love that retro 70’s look! Well done:)

  3. I’m not feelin it…Everybody knows if you are in the “industry” you gotta be “’bout that life” Her look to me does not scream “stylist” like if she was trying to get clients..they are going to look at her style IMO.

Or maybe her clientele will be more laid back, average joes(i duno)cute girl but IMO mama you gotta step it up!

And I do make up….if I’m soliciting my service guess what? My make up is gonna be ON POINT and my shots are gonna make ppl want to book me. Point.blank.period.

  4. i like her style. very Classic and clean! even though she is a stylist who probably knows about different style genres, she sticks to what works best for her. She saves the edgy looks for her edgy clients.

  5. Love the features so far for 2011. This girl’s style is definitely on point. Clean, simple and beautiful.

  6. She looks classic and elegant. She is wearing the clothes, not the clothes wearing her.

  7. she looks okay. she doesn’t bring to mind a professional stylist, but i really like the pleated dress.

  8. As a freelance stylist (new to the game, my first project starts in a week), I went to a styling class and honestly, most stylist dress normal. The ones who are ultra fab are the ones who are making more bank. Honestly, it’s rude to the client to upstage them. It’s one thing to be daring and bold but do you think Monica Rose wears a sequin dress and pumps when Kim K. is wearing her J.Brand cargos and Alexander Wang T-shirt? Not at all. If you look at the photos, she does have different elements that add to her look. Stylist have their own personal style. Shoot, I remember watching Trey Songz get styled by his stylist and she was definitely rocking jeans, a crochet beanie, a cardigan, and flat boots. It was simple and understated. Not every fashion stylist dresses like Rachel Zoe or June Ambrose everyday. Some like to save the ultra trendy and out going crazy looks for night time and networking at parties.

Everyone has an opinion so hey, either get with it or log off is my theory.

  9. I only like the dress with the pleating. Other than that, I’m not impressed with her style.

  10. I like all of her looks. They are chic, classy, and most importantly WEARABLE. When I see a lot of the other fashion bombshells, I think to myself, “Where on Earth could you where that get-up?!” She is wearing, well put together outfits, not costumes like a lot of stylists and fashion bloggers. I respect that.

  11. FABULOUS!!!! Now this is style!!! LOVE every single outfit!!!! The pleated look is my favorite!!!!!

  12. Look at lala warming up this year. I like her looks, one more outfit with pants would have been nice, but the length of the dresses work for her :-)

  13. I co-sign Sarah Jane

If you work in the industry you wld know that most stylist dress extremely casual bc they need to be comfortable when they work. Six-inch stillettos and sequin minis are not appropriate for running around picking up samples and kneeling to hem pants in a fitting. Most wear jeans and tees and save the flair for events. If you are at a fitting looking better than them they will either ask for the clothes off your back or fire you bc they want to be the only person to shine unless you are June or Rachel. Clients don’t want stylist to dress them in copies of outfits the stylist has worn – they want the stylist to create an image for them that compliments their unique personality and style.

The most important thing for a stylist is their portfolio and what showrooms they have access to. Paying clients could care less if you’re wearing the newest hottest whatever and are more concerned if you could get them look #24 that was shown on the runway but wasn’t produced commercially. It doesn’t make sense for the stylist to be wearing the hot new Pierre Hardy kicks if they can’t get the yet-to-be-released styles for the client

  14. I like the pleated dress and the gorgeous tan she’s wearing with it. Other than that her style is ok. I disagree with everyone saying she should dress the part. Look at Patricia Field most stylist don’t dress too well imo. A true stylist doesn’t have the time nor energy to put into their personal look….
