We’re taking a cue from last week with lots of international style. Take a look at today’s Bombshell, 18-year-old Mona from London:

She writes, “My style depends on my mood. I like growth and I like to try new things, I believe in change.”

” My style can go from retro to classy to just sweat pants sometimes x_x.”

” My style icons are Rihanna and Teyana Taylor.”

” I’m a shoe freak! I think shoes make the whole outfit. The fact that I am a dancer also affects the way I dress.”

” I think my style is very different! I absolutely loveee african prints and stripes. I absolutely love braids. I think my style is creative!”

” I hope you guys like my style.”

“It would make me very happy and please check out my blog www.itsmonalee.tumblr.com.”

” Thank you guys :)”

Thank you! Your looks are cute, sassy, yet age appropriate. I can definitely see the Rihanna and Teyana inluences.
Can you ?

  1. yea you can def see the influence. Shes a super cute gal regardless, and she owns it which doesnt make it look copy-cat-ish.

  2. Love it…very young, very on trend, and totally not forced! She’s so cute…and her style is very Rihanna-esque. Plus, her braids are gorgeous!!

  3. i definitely think she looks great. at 18, i couldn’t think of a style that is better and more fitting for her age group. it looks effortless and it seems as if she is having fun with her clothes.

  4. Her style is Amazing! I loveee the way she pairs and plays with colour its beautiful =)

  5. I love some of her pieces, but she still hasn’t mastered the art of looking well put together. She’s still kinda of all over the place and some of the outfits would make me think she lives by the beach because she stays half naked.

  6. She looks great! Her looks are cute and fun and yes, as mom-ish as it sounds, age-appropriate. I can definitely see the influences.

Keep it up girl! I know she’ll keep evolving and hopefully she just keeps getting better. With an amazing athletic figure like hers there aren’t many looks that she couldn’t rock!

  7. This is Mona Lee da bestest Model, She’s not just a bombshell but a super model, fresh and fly, swags on point, stylish, dress code on point. I am proud of you girl. Keep doing yo thing soon you gonna be famous world!

  8. She is a cute girl, but she isn’t wearing anything……..I haven’t seen before. But, I guess she is ok.

  9. Can somebody please define a fashion bombshell? I bet most of you guys would define it based on yalls personal style. Get a grip people it’s not that serious.

  10. cute girl and I love her individuality, but not fashion bombshell to me…I like her use of color and prints but I consider a bombshell to be a step ahead of the crowd and she hasnt hit that point yet, but if she keeps her positive attitude, she’ll get there

  11. Those of you who always have something negative to say; how about you showcase your own style so that we’ll see how much of a bombshell you truly are. This girl is a kid and she’s obviously having fun. Kudos to you Mona. You dress well for your age and I know your style will mature with age. Thumbs up from me.

  12. I think a valid point came up on this post. A musician may be known for one type of sound, but can often appreciate different genres of music. It should be the same for fashion or other forms of art. It does not have to be your personal style to see the good in something — everything isn’t and should not be for everyone (that’s what makes us all individuals). However, keeping that in mind we should all be entitled to express our opinions (hopefully in a tasteful and constructive manner) as well.

  13. her style is soo blah..definitely not a bombshell to me,she needs to step up her style game on every level from her clothes to her shoe game.

  14. I think her style is very cute! I’d love to see her keep evolving.

With that said why are people so quick to challenge those who express dislike for someone’s style? I’m tired of people saying “why don’t you submit your looks?”. It is not about commentator looks. It is about this person who submitted their looks to be judged. What I wear is not the issue and as someone above stated, we can have appreciation for someone’s style even if it is not exactly our taste.

I am not a good singer but I can still distinguish music and artists that don’t appeal to me in many different genres. I am not an actress but I can have an opinion on the quality of someone’s acting.

We all have our own opinions, likes and dislikes and this site is about expressing them. Fashion is very personal and what one person likes, another may not and that’s how it should be.

Anyway, I’m stepping off the soap box now.
