  1. Too much going on here. She has cute pieces but she’s wearing them all at the same time.

  2. Oakland better stand up! Cause she needs to sit down. Have several! In fact give her the whole front row.

  3. Random extreme is right lol. But it certainly seems to were for her quirky personality. But I just can’t wrap my head around it.

  4. Represent where you really from. Oakland… does not. Well maybe East East Oakland

  5. I can appreciate it. Everyone doesn’t want to rock Haute Couture, but as a Bay Area native –recently having returned to Oakland– I can tell you this isn’t unique. From the septum piercing to the all of the random mixing of colors and patterns, this is what young Black Hipsters are doing in the Bay. I do like that she owns her quirkiness.

  6. First thing I thought of was Punky Brewster. I wouldn’t classify her as a bombshell but cute girl. Her randomness is needed in this world. I would hate to walk around and see everyone dressed to my liking.

  7. I love how she takes fashion risks that a lot of people are scared to take nowadays. I love her confidence that shines bright thru her style and pictures. We need more people in this world who are willing to take risks and express their individuality and creativity. I definitely love all of her looks. your owning this look KAMRAN darling !!! WERK look forward to hearing more from you in the future !!! her future looks bright just like her style and personality.

  8. well I like all your tights and socks, maybe not with the outfits, but I do like them.

  9. Wow, never seen outfits like this. One thing for sure, she lives up to her name.

  10. Throws peace sign back to you I feel your spirit mama congrats on the feature. Your taste won’t be everyone’s taste and that is OKAY.

  11. Am i the only one that noticed she took a pic in a fitting room? Does she even own the dress lol

  12. Very tumblr-esque style. All the “nonconformist” rebel kids dress like this these days. But hey Do YOU honey!

  13. Aww, y’all are harsh  I got an ABG (Awkward Black Girl) vibe from her and share her love of tech. That’s the irony: keyboard dress, pixelated purse, and the fact she works at Apple.

Her style’s not for my aged-white-haired taste yet she’ll, no doubt, make a fun fashion line. Really liked the work outfit and the eagle top set up on her.

  14. omg…what was that..i just lost my appetite for a whole week…seriously !!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the worst FBD of the day I have seen. The hair is a pass I understand not wanting the standard press n curl or weave but the outfits…just looks tacky…no class…the thigh socks ..

  15. It looks very clownish to me… Definitely not my style but to each it’s own…

  16. Smile. She made me do that. I love the YOUTH in her looks and the body to pull it off. On GP of #CAU, #WilmingtonDE, #AtlantaGA and #OaklandCA I have to give her props. I have ties to all the above!! Do your thing, keep being ambitious and as the alma mata mantra goes: Find A Way or Make One.

  17. Takes courage to show who you are when it’s not like everyone else. Takes a big personality to pull off these styles, too. You can see the outfits are an expression of her attitude and energy. Keep it up!

  18. Everything about her style is horrible, she said she likes it cheap and thats exactly one of the many words I would use to describe her style its one awful mess she needs help more than anything but kudos for being bold enough to wear that outside in broad daylight. Oakland this what ya’ll represent? *side eye*

  19. I’m just gonna “throw” my entire closet on and submit it for fashion bombshell of the day….*rolls eyes** ..girl bye!

  20. I appreciate her braveness and individuality. She is most definitely…colorful and marching to the beat of her own drum. Some of her pieces are cute, just not all together. If she feels comfortable in her skin, who are we to judge? At any rate, be you, Bird and keep doing what you’re doing.

  21. haters goooooonnnaa haaate that’s the way it is that just how its been !!! mama you bombshell of the day and they commenting under YOUR SHINE!!!

  22. This is not my taste or anything I would put together, but she clearly defined what SHE likes and SHE owns that. Everything is not for everybody and everybody is not for everything.

  23. But wait….this is a hot rachet bottom of the sewer mess! I refuse go any further. And the comment “yeesssss” …… um…. no

  24. I needed the laugh today. Comments section are hilarious.

It’s all over the place. I guess I can’t wrap my conservative, minimalist, 9-5 head around it. If it works for her lifestyle…

  25. That pic in the fitting rooms…smh…I hope she at least owns that dress now…

  26. Ha Ha Ha at Hot Ratchet Bottom of the Sewer Mess lol #classic lol and yes I did take a picture in the fitting room lol yup, sure did, you see it right? lol And No lol i don’t own the dress lol not long enough but thanks for paying close detail. You guys are hilariously awesome!

  27. I think she has too much going on. Some of the pieces are cute and trendy and would have worked if she just wore one trend at a time instead of several at once.

  28. This child was the valedictorian of her class at Clown College. She is the perfect reason why the street style trend needs to END.

  29. Some of the outfits are not too bad. Like the red and black one. You should try looking funky without looking homeless with all the layering. The pieces are ok but it is how you put it together…try less is more maybe?

  30. Lawd, she submitted a picture of dress she doesn’t even own. That’s a first I’ve seen on here. She admitted it all proud too.

  31. i don’t like her style at all. now w/that being said, i did enjoy the way she described her fashion. i could not stomach another bombshell describing their style as classy chic when 97% of them are anything but. kamran wears what the hell she wants & owns it. do you girl.

  32. DON’T BE HATERS!!! she got the balls to rock her own, and she is BRINGIN’ IT. love your style girl… don’t ever change your individuality just cause others are too afraid to stand out.

  33. Well I think her description of her style: Random Extreme fits her well. I can’t say I love everything but I do like some looks. It’s too many chicks chasing red bottoms and buying everything from Instagram boutiques and they end u all looking the same. So gone girl and ROCK OUT!

  34. It’s like paint being splattered all over the place. Just too much and sometimes even messy. less is more for her.

  35. I think there is an extreme need for editing… BUT we have seen worse. She is young… I look forward to her look mature. I think she has future bombshell written all over.

  36. You are awesome! I am born and raised in San Francisco and I must tell you, don’t pay attention to the negative comments! Your style is the complete opposite of mine, but that’s why I like it. Just like people from the Bay, you don’t fit in every where, but you are perfect here. Fashion is about expressing who you are and standing out, so do you boo boo! LMAO at the East Oakland comment though!

  37. Her style would not work for my life (business meetings, chasing after a toddler, etc.) but you have to do fun things like this while you can. Fashion is about taking a risk and is about expressing your personality/feelings with a wardrobe. I like some of her pieces, but I would pair them differently. But I do wish others would continue to give constructive criticism not just bash her. Nope I don’t know Kamran, I don’t live in Atlanta, work at the apple store, nor did I attend CAU.

To each its own…march to the beat of your own drum

  38. Yes, her style is unusual. It’s not conservative in any way. But what I like is that it seems true to her. She describes her style perfectly: random extreme. I can appreciate that more than other bombshells who insist their style is “hard to define.”

  39. Well the one dress i did like..u didnt purchase..womp womp…if u dont care #thatsonu

  40. Thanks Anonymous. Lol your too scared to even put your name lol Internet thugs. Thanks Claire for featuring me!! I really appreciate it!!!

  41. @kamran some of these comnents are harsh but if you really wanted to seem confident and unphased you should not have responded. Just my advice silence is golden and arguing with an idiot makes u seem like one and I am sure you area smart girl.

  42. @kamran….if you really wanted to seem confident and unphased by some of the not so nice comments…..you should have responded. Haters win. Just friendly advice.

  43. I don’t get the ripped tights thing, a big pet peeve of mine… Ok off my OCD trip! lol Nothing else bothers me she’s a cute girl expressing herself. Doesn’t matter where’s she’s from. If her lifestyle allows that dress code by all means do you boo! Y’all comments are vicious damn. Would love to see what you all look like from behind computer screens… Smdh

  44. She has some hits… Think she is on that grunge rihanna tip. Sometimes a tad much. The outfit with the black beanie and the studded clutch is on point. i love it. At the end I would rather have her style then be mundane and usual

  45. This is nothing even close to a fb, but Oddly enough i think she has potential. Way too much going on in these shots (even for the look she’s going for). She needs to simplify dramatically.

That blue lipstick and plastic jewelry, etc must go. She’s trying too hard with the gimmicks.

  46. Clownishness! Style network’s How Do I Look would have been a more appropriate place to submit these pics.

  47. I appreciate that she is bold enough to be different. Very..wacky! In a good way!

  48. I wonder if Betsey Johnson got this much criticism when she decided she wanted to start her own line or wear fashions not dictated by mainstream culture?? The point of fashion is to express your individuality, hence the tons of designers in the fashion industy and beyond. That being said, her style is not my style by leaps and bounds but she seems happy and confident and loves who she is. Take away the clothing and how many of us could say that…

  49. I’m from the bay area and her style definitely isn’t unique around here. I probably walk by at least 20 girls each day that have the same style as her. I do like some of her individual pieces she has on in the pics but overall I’m not impressed.

  50. I don’t mind the looks that much, but if she’s going to continue to dress like that, then she needs to WEAR MAKEUP. Seriously, hun, learn which foundation colors work for you, learn how to work black eyeliner, false eyelashes, play around with blush, etc., so you can wear your blue, green, purple, etc, lipsticks to MATCH your clothing.

You’re wearing blue lips and you have NOTHING BLUE on. Not only that the rest of your face is naked. The natural look isn’t for everyone. I heard the chicks in San Francisco don’t like to pretty themselves up, but hey, learning to master makeup application can improve your renegade look immensely.

Also, play around with different color wigs too. Watch Ru’s Drag Race for tips. Not gonna knock your style, but if I was to dress like this, then makeup and wigs would be a VERY STRONG part of my look.

I’m from NYC by the way, so carry on.

  51. Not only is the “fashion” here ridiculous and scary, but it also seems Mrs. Kamran has a bad and defensive attitude. The truth hurts sometimes.

  52. It’s always one person willing to pump somebody’s head up knowing they’re truly a hot mess. There’s nothing wrong with someone being different, but damn………be different and ON POINT.

  53. Lol ha ha never defensive lol well not about my clothing selection. Like I said, I’m comfortable in what I wear, I am extra, and I mix and match, but I wear stuff that I like, only me. Everyone isn’t going to like my style, and that’s fine with me lol y’all don’t have to wear the clothes, I do, and I love them. there’s a difference between constructive criticism and bashing, which is what a majority of you all are doing lol but trust me, y’all aren’t the first and definitely won’t be the last. Lol y’all hate it, I love it. As long as 1 person liked my outfits, everyone’s else’s opinions aren’t needed. Have a wonderful blessed day!! :)

  54. The truth clearly hurts because she came back in here all defensive. This was hilarious.

  55. Kamran, stop with the “hater” talk, because it’s stupid and you know you don’t “love” it.

Just do what I said about experimenting with makeup and wigs to really make this look WORK FOR YOU. You’re on that hipster/geek mess. I get it, but there’s nothing wrong with looking cute.

By the way, I’m loving that metallic dress you’re wearing in the last photo.

  56. As Coco Chanel stated “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off.”

  57. Who is this Janice chick who feels she is a fashion consultant. She wears what she likes, she has her own style in check and she doesn’t need your “advice” so keep it moving. “Hipster/geek mess”. It’s mess because its not your cup of tea. Hoe sit down. Fashion is about expressing your individuality. I love your style doll.

  58. Kamran you have generated 90+ comments which says a lot because you caused controversey and its working for you. A kot of the bombshells who received positive comments were styles that were nothing special cute but not out of the ordinary. the harsh comments, ignore them even the greatest received harsh comments at first and when it finally worked people hated but then jumped on the bandwagon. you have inspired me to really be daring and be comfortable in my own skin . Show up to stand OUT is how I would summarize your unique style. Stay fab kam!!!

  59. @Can, I wasn’t talking to you and last I checked, the people who sent their pics in wanted “constructive” criticism and not to have asses kissed.

I’m not into her look. It’s a take off from old school NYC club kids who knew how to work it. When they dressed like Kamran, their MAKEUP WAS HOOKED DA HELL UP!! If you’re going to dress this way, then WORK IT!!!

She can work it doing what the hell I said. Kamran, if you’re reading this google 1990s/2000s NYC Club Kids and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

I mean only do it, if you want to look “cute” doing it. If you’re happy looking the way your currently do, then pay me no mind and…carry on.

  60. Kam, yes, I am a hater because the fashion was bad… makes sense. I’ve called Amanda Bynes a train wreck too, and that certainly doesn’t translate into hater or jealous.

  61. I think misconstrue the purpose of this forum. Since when was everyone supposed to have the same style? Saying a person has style isn’t about saying “Oh, I would wear that.” It’s about realizing that a person has created a look for themselves and is not conforming to what everyone thinks. Most people that commented are the majority of society that don’t have style. They’re just “me-toos.” Lame and ignorant females. Would I wear what she wears how she wears it? Absolutely not. I do, however, appreciate the fact that she has her own style and is not following anybody’s rules or opinions. Because of that, that is exactly why she is a bombshell. Dumbasses.

  62. @Taryn Nicole (cute name), no need for name calling, you can still get your point across :)…anywho, I was bout to say EXACTLY what you just said, so thank you for saving me time lol. I would NEVER wear her fits but she’s rockin it. I think she looks cute because she seems confident and comfortable in what she’s wearing, it doesn’t seem forced to me and I love that.

  63. I give you props for being ya self and being not afraid to expirement but you look like you fell in ya closet and BAM thats ya outfit
