  15. I think she looks beautiful and her story is very inspiring. As women we ALL struggle with body image issues that affect our self esteem from time to time. Its nice to see a fashionista out there that has conquered hers and has mastered the look of “confidence”. The attitide makes the outfit imo.

  18. When I spotted that Louis Vuitton bag she automatically went into “basic” chick category. And her clothes are ill-fitting. Ashley Stewart and Lane Bryant has stuff that is your perfect fit.

  22. Pretty girl but I’m not wowed with her fashion. This is the problem with following trends that are not faltering to your body type. Her jeans are too tight and skinny jeans aren’t the most faltering on thicker and shorter legs. The skirt and boys are citing off her legs making them look stubby. I do like the maxi skirt look.

    I like it! … She looks youthful and cute! Style isn’t about drama, it’s about finding what works for you and making it look good on YOU!

    What about the fit of clothes on TONS of celebs…i.e. Kim K! No problem or shade thrown there huh?

  25. I don’t know what to say w/o throwing as much shade as a palm tree…..I mean, she is a pretty girl but how many times can one see a pair of color jeans, denim shirt, lita boots, and statement necklace. I would say atleast she executed it well but the fit is kinda poor.

  29. I think she’s a very cute girl with a nice look. I do think (being a fellow curvy girl) that she sould go up a size on the pants so they don’t look so tight or ackward across her knees or buy a pant that is more denim than lycra so it doesn’t fall into a cease so much…….

  32. Just visited her blog…nice style really…again as a fellow curvy girl: Some times short dresses are not flattering to a thicker leg. Hitting at the knee or below where your calf takes on a curve is more flattering. I know the it thing is to wear them have your cheeks darn near out but please refrain and keep it classy! Wearing above the knee tends to make your knees and thighs look…chubby for a lack of a better term. But if you’re tall and curvy…all beats off….but we can’t have the best of everything. Again, lovely girl and the hair is very much on point!

  35. I feel as we as a society sit and always try to always find some antagonistic comment to say instead of just being happy for someone and there accomplishments. So!! bravo to Janae’ for standing up for the curvy women and strutting her stuff. Her smile reveals its okay to be comfortable in your own skin and body. Keep up the Good Work!!

  37. She needs to go up a pants size and wear some longer length skirts. I’d soften the makeup as well. The brows are a little strong. The ivori tights on thicker legs are a no-no.

  41. I think she deserves to have her style posted just off the fact that she is representing a group of women that we dont see very much( plus size or curvy) in fashion. I think her style fits her young and fun!!! Continue to be an inspiration honey do ya thing.

    You must not come to this website a lot, because there is ALWAYS shade thrown at Kim and other celebrities. I hate when people try to use that “argument”, smh.

    Very pretty girl, and her style is cool, and seems to work for her. I especially love the head pieces. But if I wear to offer some constructive criticism, I would tell her to make sure the pants aren’t so tight. Skinny jeans are fine, but just make sure they make the legs appear smooth, and not the opposite of smooth, lol.
