She says, “I love fashion and style. As a soon-to-be 1st year PhD student I have shopped on a budget since undergrad. I like to save on clothes by shopping sales, sample sales, Winners (Toronto people feel me!) and vintage shops, but I will always splurge on a good piece of jewelry. I also love picking up cool, one of a kind pieces on my travels- some of the wickedest stuff I have is from Barbados, Jamaica, and New York.”

“As you can see from some of my pictures I’m a Muslim, born and raised, and I LOVE wearing the traditional, modest, clothing and headscarf (hijab) for special occasions but in my own distinct way. So please consider me for Fashion Bombshell of the day, and let me rep it for the Muslim chicks and all the Toronto readers!”
