  4. I love the pink trench and her bag in the second photo. I love when you take wardrobe staples and make them interesting with color and texture.

  5. I feel like this is what my submission would look like: plenty of cute looks for special occasions/nighttime, but nothing remotely inspiring for day. Which is why I’m waiting to submit my own photos, and why I come here almost daily: to find a daytime style (I’m in the Army, so I haven’t had to figure out what to wear on a daily basis in almost 10 years)

  7. I don’t understand how people really think, that their “style” is one of a kind and yet they are wearing the exact same dresses/shoes/boots/blazers/scarf/hairstyle/pose seen in every basic retail store, on every tv show, and on every retail website.
    There is nothing here that reads style, it reads blending in, matching most consumers, shopping at the same old, same old stores.
    She is pretty, she is confident however these outfits aka styles blend into the background of any surburban mall, club or restaurant.

  12. Pretty girl…lackluster looks………nothing here was a “lightbulb”outfit that I was inspired by….I am plus size and sometimes wonder how girls that can fit into anything still can’t figure out how to dress.

  13. So… to sum it up, her “style” can be described as the “generic, sub-urban, run of the mill mall look” with a hint of hoodrat (*nod to the trashy tattoo that totally kills the already God-awful purple Forever21 $20 dress).

  22. Yes, I’m afraid I’m going to have to agree. Her style is basic at best. I also a bit confused that she claims her style is one of a style..because it’s not. She should really work on improving her basics – add some accessories – she can still be simple, but this is verging on boring.

  34. Very pretty girl… but majority wins in this poll, just basic and boring every day style… and I hate to be mean, but I hate it when people refer to them self as classy- elegant… There isn’t anything elegant about that bold tattoo try some cover up next time.

  36. I hate to be redundant but she is gorgeous and sadly her style is boring! There is nothing unique about her looks and certainly nothing that pops. I’m no expert but I would have liked if she mixed and matched with some sasssy vintage pieces, threw on some accessories and took a few risks.

    She’s really gorgeous. Simple style, and I love the sparkly bandage dress. It’s not exactly unique or inspiring, but I give her props for being well put together.

  44. While the comments are harsh, the truth has to be stated. Fashion Bomb celebrates individuals that have unique, innovative, beautiful style and this submission is none of the above.

  51. People are going hard but behind some of the comments there were some helpful critism. You can’t call your style one-of-a-kind when your looks been done countless times. Also play around with some jewelry, and invest in some quality clothes. I love the last look, it’s fab.

    The glaring tattoo on the boob/chest is definitely not the type of thing I would expect on someone describing themself as “classy and elegant”. Girl… have a seat!

  56. I def. would not call her style ONE OF A KIND!!! Her outfits remind me of a cheap fashion store looks! She has a great body though I feel she should take more risks her looks were not inspiring at all and not to mention that strapless pink dress (PLEASE BURN IT!?

    I kinda understand where you are coming from, but her tattoo is neither on her chest nor her breast. I don’t really care for tattoos in those locations either, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say that this young lady is in hood rat territory. I think that is exaggerating and then some. You can have a visible tattoo and still be classy and elegant.
    On a side note, can we retire the “have a seat” phrase. It is beyond played out.

How can you be under a size 12 and have a million and one stores, at every single price range imaginable, be at your fingertips literally, and you do not know how to dress or have style? -___- shit blows mine. i’d kill to have everything i’ve ever wanted to wear in a size 16. lol

  64. I think folks are going so hard because of the strong statements she used to describe what truthfully is average style. However, if average expresses her (and I don’t mean avg in a mean way) then technically it is “her” style. So kudos to the young lady for owning that. It goes way too far when the value of her items becomes the topic of discussion. #1. You assume (and you all know what that means) #2. Real/fake/cheap/expensive does not qualify as an adequate category for fashion critiquing rather the perception of quality does (you all should know that). Let’s rid ourselves of these blatant insecurities ;) Gorgeous girl! (P.S. Pump up the accessories and POW!)

  65. I agree with AB she is very pretty and I also dont think you don’t have to be over the top with a fashion blogsite to be a bombshell lol. Her style and what she choices to wear is relatable to alot of everyday women and someone who is trying to come in to their own may see her and get a little inspired to try what she is doing because it is not over the top. kuddos to you! :)

  70. She is a pretty girl and has a few cute pieces. However, what she pairs them with doesn’t jump out to us. Maybe if she styles her hair differently, and mixes colors (like pic #2), her style may transcend better.
