i don’t understand. A lot of her clothes are ill fitted. Furthermore, the weaves take away from the outfits and her choice of accessories are bland
I feel like I can see the vision in her head, unfortunately, they are not executed well. Some tailoring would work well for her.

She has some great individual pieces, but as entire head-to-toe looks can use some improvement. I also think today’s bombshell needs to take fit into consideration, especially with those two printed separates sets.

There were some cute outfits (floral top and green pants, tribal crop top and skirt set) but they do not flatter her figure at all so I can’t say bombshell

Is everyone a fashion stylist nowadays? And I can imagine, as said “fashion stylist” you should know what best fits your body type and what does not. No? Yes? I honestly do like a majority of the outfits, they’re just not a good look on her.

I think fit is a very important part of getting dressed…. Regardless of how great an outfit is (which most of her looks are) if the fit is wrong…. It becomes hard to look past how I’ll fitting things look on her.

Why is everything so tight???
I’m torn cause I can see where she’s going and if the same outfit a little tailored on Cassie I think the comments would be different. Not necessarily my taste but I don’t think it’s bad by any means.
None of the look stands out. Tacky to say the least. The only decent thing that looks good on her is the dress in the last pic. Evetything else burn it.
You cannot be a stylist if you cannot properly dress yourself. You’ll be dressing your homegirls for free for the rest of your life. I understand what she is trying to do, but she needs to take out the slight ghetto feel to her clothing and add URBAN like DKNY. Go to the library and check out a few books on your favorite stylist and well known fashion magazines. There is potential, but it needs work.
Also if you dropped like 20 pounds and firmed up a little, it would make a big difference in the fit of your clothing.
Note to those who submit pics: COME WITH IT. Cuz these people will read you for filth, honey!!

I’m lmao at “In an email titled” Oh the shade – but the submission Shaterra’s look is a bit distracting or her weave is distracting or the clothes – it’s a bit of a miss for me.
I like the box braids you look absolutely gorgeous in the box braids. Just continue to work on being the best you and hone your craft cause with confidence like that you should go very far !!!

Wow these people are disgraceful! Like this girl is awesome (with the exception of her wig) her makeup is great, shoes are awesome and has a great eye for clothing. You can critique without being disrespectful.

I want to be as constructive as possible here. I totally understand the urge to just go for the jugular, but its not going to help this sister at all.
I think she has a decent style ‘sensibility’ in general. Like others said you can see where she is trying to go with her choices, but perhaps doesn’t have the resources to pull it off? The comments about her size are unwarranted, but she could definitely check the fit on some outfits. Lastly, I would add that her hair is gorgeous in that updo! The braids are a nice look too. The heavy weave is not flattering but her make up is great. Very pretty girl. A few years and like someone else said, maybe some studying, would do her good. For example, study Claire she pulls off crop tops and short skirts for a full figured woman FLAWLESSLY!
Give her a few years. She has the potential to return with a vengeance!

Don’t get me wrong,your body type is a NO NO FOR VERY SHORT CLOTHES,BE IT TOP OR BOTTOM,ESPECIALLY CLOTHES THAT HANGS.

Where to begin? I think there is alot to be said for taking pride in grammar and sentence structure as much as styling ones self. How else are we to take you seriously? It is absolutely painful reading some of these submissions. That aside, I think the selections made for bombshell of the day is solely for our amusement and to garner as many comments daily. I cannot believe that this is the best of the lot of submissions received. Most of the selections are atrocious and the claim to being a stylist, well…

Whether a person is big or small, their sense of Fashion will be the same. I wouldn’t knock anyone for doing what they are passionate about. I feel she has potential that may take a bit of time to develop, and my advice is no matter what size you are, make sure you dress complimentary to your figure. Keep pushing sister; )
I’m pretty sure trashy wasn’t what she was trying to go for but that’s what her outfits are saying. There has got to be a better way for her to get the look she wants without looking like she through on whatever despite fit or taste level. bring her back in a few years
I know I shouldn’t share my negative thoughts, but…
Seriously? I just checked out this girl’s instragram. Mostly because I was intrigued by how awful her submissions are. I feel like she has many ig posts that should have been up here for the reader’s entertainment. This girl’s style is horrendous. Her looks are tacky, ill-fitting, and ugly. Her weave speaks for itself, but that’s not really what matters here.
The clothes. Wow. There’s absolutely no element of class here. Everything is super tight or super short. And as a curvy girl myself (curvy as in 5’8, size 8, not curvy as in a euphemism for fat), there’s nothing wrong with tight and nothing wrong with short. But there is a proper way to do it. You need structure and balance. Tight pants can work if you’re over a size 14, but probably not in green. Big boobs can have cleavage, but not without adequate support. Anyone can wear a crop top, but not with a bottom so tight you have rolls.
This might be the worst bombshell ever.
Smh… I know people are constantly on here influenced by other comments.. I see a lot of good. Fit could use some improvement but definitely a lot of good there. If I seen you on the street I would look twice. Don’t listen to these haters up there.
