These days you can’t spend much time on your Instagram feed without seeing a picture of someone with pink clay smeared on their face along with the #AlyaSkin.

Alya Skin has been running for less than a year, the company was started by 2 friends in Melbourne soon after they noticed the fast growing clay mask trend in the beauty space. In their first 4 months, the brand made $1million dollars in revenue. An amazing result for 22 year old co-founders James Hachem and Manny Barbas, who have never worked in the beauty industry before.

Alya Skin (meaning heavenly/beautiful in Arabic) has quickly become the Insta beauty product of the year. FDA approved – as well as cruelty free and vegan – it’s easy to see why this young brand has been so successful. Just looking through #AlyaSkin you are in a sea of flawless complexions, artful product images, before/after pictures shown by real customers – the results are incredible! And people are noticing. This little pot of pink magic has been featured in Glamour, Teen Vogue, Insider and Nylon to name a few.

Alya Skin has 2 distribution points, one in Australia while the other is in America. Which means no matter where you are in the world, you never have to wait too long to find your answer to clearer, softer skin.

With their growing popularity, Alya Skin recently expanded their product line to include anAustralian Native Berries Moisturiser ($19.99USD) and Pomegranate Facial Exfoliator ($21.99USD). The OG product is $39.99USD for a 120g pot that ‘detoxifies and brightens skin’. It is recommended to be used 3 times a week for 10 minutes.

Benefits of Pink Clay

It is known especially beneficial for those with sensitive skin as it is the most gentle of all the clays (green and white is also big in the beauty game) but it is suitable for all skin types.

Pink clay helps to restore and replenish skin (great for dry skin types), targeting impurities and reduces inflammation.
