A week after graduating from California State University with a degree in fashion design and textiles, the driven diva began assisting Lysa Cooper, who has styled Rihanna, P. Diddy, and Andre 3000. After two years she kick started her own career, and has worked with Day 26, Chris Robinson, and Brandy.
For those of you looking to get into styling, Monique says, “stay focused and hungry. Set trends don’t keep fads going. BE SKILLED don’t just do it because you think you can dress. Remember the grind never ends, the day just changes.”
Staying true to her motto, “there are too many celebrities and not enough stars,” she is determined and focused on changing the game. She’s one to watch!
