While a slew of celebs graced the red carpet at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival and 2014 Billboard Music Awards, a whole host of others documented their weekend looks for the ‘Gram.
Let’s see who sported what:
Supermodel Joan Smalls hit the streets of Brooklyn, taking in all the sights the city had to offer. Standing in front of a mural, she served ease and comfort in a denim button down, a white tank and skirt, and a $623 pair of Gucci sneakers. Not even decked in couture and she still slays. Hot!
Ludacris, the boss that he is, had a few outfit changes during last night’s Billboard Music Awards — as hosts usually do. He opted for a black suit for his second look, and completed his ensemble with a blue gingham shirt, red necktie, yellow pocket square and a SLICK $450 pair of Mara and Mine ‘Jem’ loafers. Hmm… as far as the color coordination of this look goes, there’s a lot going on. But the shoes themselves get a resounding round of applause.
Iggy Azalea shared a kiss with boyfriend Nick Young aka Swaggy P of the L.A. Lakers before heading to the BBMAs. She wore a burgundy Zuhair Murad gown and completed her look with hair laid for the gods. Aren’t they adorable?
Lilly Ghalichi opted for neutral tones this weekend as she attended a friend’s baby shower. Keeping it cute, but casual, she wore a nude crop top, a white pleated BCBG skirt, and $795 Christian Louboutin ‘Debout’ pumps. A little on the simple side, but chic nonetheless. And her makeup…perfection.
Mogul in the making Angela Simmons spent the day with her little sister in NYC this weekend, but didn’t do so without sharing her wares via Instagram. She rocked a BooHoo denim jacket, white tank top, black leather skater skirt, and a $249 pair of Lust for Life ‘Fly’ peep toe, thigh high lace up boots. This look is full of trends, but it still exudes effortlessness. Hot! Angela, between us, do you ever have an off day?
Adrienne Bailon looked stunning and on trend in white separates at the NBC Upfronts event. She wore a The Kooples short suit, an alice + olivia top, a YSL clutch and Christian Louboutin D’Orsay pumps. Loved the look from head to toe.
Fantasia and Rachel Roff (founder of Urban Skin Solutions Medspa) took to the town for meetings. Both donning some serious purses, (Fantasia’s being a $1,595 Michael Kors studded ‘Miranda’ tote) this was definitely one hell of a meeting. And are you feeling her floral print dress, gold ear cuff, and hair cut as much as I am? Fantasia looks so well put-together here, and here’s hoping she keeps this up!
And last, but not least, is socialite, Olivia Palermo. The fashionista was spotted at Carolina Herrera’s San Francisco boutique opening, wearing Carolina Herrera, nonetheless. Very climate apropos, she opted for a neutral-hued look with strappy brown sandals. And she never leaves home without her signature red manicure.
That’s it for this week! Who were your top picks?
