• This Week in Chic: Solange Knowles, Alicia Keys, the Steel Magnolias Premiere Event, and More!

    Happy Thursday everyone!

Paris Fashion Week is over (tears) so it’s back to normal life!

From fashion shows to movie premieres, events and chances to go glam were in abundance this week. Not everyone brought their A-game, but most did it right in the style department.

Check out some of this week’s looks:

Solange Knowles served at the EPIX and Vanity Fair after party for Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007 in NYC. Loving her pink $435 Twenty8Twelve Alexon Jacket and $245 Felicity Shorts, $965 striped Nicholas Kirkwood slingbacks, and $965 Charlotte Olympia London 2012 Pandora Perspex Clutch!

Over in London, Alicia Keys kept it casual in a cropped jacket, printed scarf, and denim, but uplifted her look with gold Christian Louboutin Simple Booties.

Selita Ebanks went totally glam at the SickKids Bliss Ball in Toronto. What an amazing gown!

Kanye West did his best Zoolander face at the Dior show in Paris. He’s getting to be the new-age Doug Funnie. Give us more Yeezy!

I haven’t seen KimYe together in quite sometime! Kim and Kourtney Kardashian played in the sand in Miami in printed coverups. I’ve never looked this fancy at the beach. I guess I’m doing it all wrong.

At the Steel Magnolias Premiere event in NYC, Queen Latifah kept it simple in all-black.

Keri Hilson and Jill Scott were also on hand to fête Steel Magnolias. Both ladies look wonderful no?

Last, but not least at the event were actresses Condola Rashad and Adepero Oduye. Clearly the women were playing no games at this event!

Another PFW sighting! Shala Monroque went for relaxed layers and gold sandals.

Dania Ramirez went for all-leather at the Seven Psychopaths Premiere in Hollywood. Work it Dania!

At LAX Airport, Brit Rochelle Wiseman repped the USA in a flag tank and $1,295 Christian Louboutin Developpa Leather Wedges.

Leona Lewis tried on the colorblock trend for size in London. This would have worked without the clutch.

At the Stella McCartney show in Paris, M.I.A. mixed prints in her usual fashion. I’m happy to see her out and about!

Last, but not least was songstress Lianne La Havas who looked radiant at the Maison Vionnet 100th Anniversary in Paris.

Who had your favorite looks this week?
