The Southern California transplant says, “I’m a Substation Operator for a utility company. I just graduated from my operator class of 40 weeks of training and as you can see I’m around men all day and night.”
“Since I work rotating shifts, which is about 60 hours a week and work outside I have started to let myself go, because I always wear a uniform, and always at work so I never give time to really dress myself anymore.”
“I have a short haircut, but can barely manage it 24 hours after its done, and I’m always wearing hats.”
“I love fashion, trends and what to wear articles you publish, and I love seeing the urban/culture of the fashion industry on your blog is what draws me to to your website. I’m always fantasizing on how I could look, but I spend so much time at work, and tired I just close my computer and go back to reality.”
“I think this makeover would help me out on how to manage my look while not at work, make me feel confident and get my girly self back despite me being around testosterone all day!! Please give me the chance of getting this makeover!!”

So far I am rooting for Brittney to get that makeover. I can see how her job makes it hard to be fashionable on a daily basis especially with her wearing hard hats every day.

I think y’all need to get contestants that are more busted looking,lol.the two ladies that are pick so far,dont really look that bad.their just plain jane looking,we need more scary,awful or hot mess janes.but i guess ladies like that think they look good,so they aren’t going to nominate themselves.oh well,i root for the first contestant.

This is a great contest. I enjoy reading their backgrounds. I think it will be tough to comment on who needs it more/should win until all contestants are featured. So far, I can choose reasons as to why both women are deserving.

I will vote for her cause I am in the exact same situation as far as my job. Mostly men, uniform, and always at damn work lol

I say give it to this girl. She is working hard everyday…. trying to make a living on her own. She deserves a makeover….. Working those hours, you don’t have time to update your look.
The mom has time to update her look…. whats wrong with her old boy? he should pay for his wife to get a update.

i don’t think she needs the makeover. from what i see here i think she already knows what looks good on herself and knows what to do to be more stylish, she just doesn’t have the time to do it. that’s more of an issue with time management and her work hours then a lack of style.
