• The Fashion Bomb News Breakdown: Venus Williams Relaunches EleVen, Alexander Wang Suit Moving to Federal Court, and J.Lo May Perform at the Met Gala

     • Venus Williams is re-launching EleVen, her women’s collection that can be worn both on and off-court.

The line boasts flutter skirts, graphic v-neck tees, tank tops, sports bras, and a tournament dress. The summer collection is said to be inspired by the French Open and Wimbledon, while her fall looks are a nod to (surprise) the US Open. (WWD)

Alexander Wang is now in even more trouble than he was before. Wenyu Lu, one of the laborers in Wang’s alleged sweatshop, is filing to take his $50 million dollar lawsuit against the designer to federal court. Wang’s people maintain that the accusations brought against the designer and his brother, Dennis, are false. “The claims of sweatshop conditions were completely and utterly untrue in every respect.”  (NY Post)

Rihanna sat down with Access Hollywood to talk her sartorial proclivities, and the fact that she doesn’t care if you see her ta-tas through a sheer shirt. “If I bought it sheer, that means I’m okay with you seeing through it. Whether it was my bra or whatever else. I wear it my way. Someone else might wear it with a bra, someone else might wear it with a tank top, someone might wear it with boobie tape, and someone might wear it with none… and I happen to fall in that category.” Welp. There’s your answer, folks. And if you must know, the pop singer is wearing an Opening Ceremony Spongy Knit Minidress in the clip.

Jennifer Lopez is rumored to be performing at the Costume Gala Institute this May. Anna Wintour allegedly asked the American Idol judge to lend her singing talents, but the people at Vogue deny the reports.(WWD)

The designer said in an email that he is “not at liberty to say anything about what’s gone on,” so we’ll have to wait to see what juicy details leak out about this departure in the upcoming weeks.
