The Fashion Bomb News Breakdown: Rachel Zoe Launches Jewelry Range, Another Behind the Scenes Look at Azealia Banks’s ‘Liquorice’ Video, and Whitney Port Wants You to Fund Her Runway Show

Rachel Zoe‘s expanding her empire, adding jewelry to her already successful Ready-to-Wear line.

Drawing inspiration from the ’60s, ’70s, and art deco scene, Zoe brings us a collection of 14-karat gold-plated baubles uplifted with gems, colored quartz, enamel, and chain links. • According to WWD,  Katie Holmes‘s brand, Holmes & Yang, will make its fashion week debut Saturday, September 8th at 9pm. (WWD)

• Not only does Whitney Port want us to pay for her clothes, but she also wants us to come out of our pockets so she might show during New York Fashion Week. Port’s started a “crowd funding campaign” to raise $50,000 so her design team’s creations for Whitney Eve can take a turn down the runway next month. In a viral video, the reality star pleads with fans to fund her endeavor. Whitney herself is worth $3.5 million, and her line is supported by (surprise!) her very wealthy father, so it’s strange to me why she has to ask us poors for cash.  So far, she’s raised $2,661.
