• Apparently Rihanna and Anne Hathaway will cover Vogue‘s respective November and December issues. Annie Leibovitz unwittingly revealed the secret at one of her art shows in Columbus, Ohio. When a fan asked if she was shooting any covers, Leibovitz said, “I finished two back-to back covers–Rihanna and Anne Hathaway for Vogue.” Oops! While we already knew Rihanna would once again be gracing the cover of the Fashion Bible (she blabbed to all her Twitter followers in a tweet she soon deleted,) We hadn’t known about Ms. Hathaway’s cover. • While Keija Minor and Elaine Welteroth might be celebrating their respective new positions at Condé Nast, 60 now-former employees of the publishing giant have not been so lucky. Condé Nast has laid off about 60 people this week, with Self and Brides magazine experiencing the most dismissals. Eight members of Self‘s editorial team were let go, along with three people on their business team. At Brides, the count was five editorial and six business staffers. (WWD)

• Talk about an odd couple– this holiday season, famed Rodarte is teaming up with Starbucks on a limited edition range that includes trinkets like mugs, tote bags, and cup sleeves.
