    • Rihanna‘s stylist Mel Ottenberg has picked up a new gig as 023c‘s new fashion director. He contributed to the bi-annual’s  last two issues, and will now be a permanent fixture on its masthead. Creative director and editor of the ‘zine Joerg Koch showed enthusiasm for the appointment, telling WWD,  “I am always impressed by the ease in which Mel alternates between hyper-precise styling and mainstream rebellion. He is the perfect match for 032c’s modern take on fashion for men and women.” (WWD)

    • French coutourier Jean-Louis Scherrer passed away  at the age of 78 in Paris. The designer enjoyed a long career working alongside Yves Saint Laurent at Christian Dior. In 1962, he went on to start his own couture label, dressing the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy, Racquel Welch.  Scherrer’s work  and impact on fashion will be fondly remembered by the community at large.
