• If you were wondering how John Galliano‘s tenure at Oscar de la Renta‘s studio is going, ask model Kelsey Rogers. Rogers walked in de la Renta’s Fall 2013 show last week, and gave WWD the tea on how nicely he and Galliano are sharing their toys. “They both gave their opinion, and then they worked very well together,” she said. “If John suggested one thing and if Oscar didn’t like it, then John was like, ‘OK, we don’t have to do it.’ They each had their opinion about each look, and they just kind of compromised or agreed. It was cool to see. “ I’ll bet! Rogers also noted that Galliano was at ease in the sutdio “John seemed so laid back, and even though everyone else was so stressed out about getting all these fittings done for more than 40 girls the day before the show, he’s, like, calm and very cool and really very sweet.” (WWD)

JC Penney‘s teamed with Marchesa‘s Georgina Chapman on a range of party frocks. The retailer plans to open 250 to 300 Pearl by Georgina Chapman of Marchesa in-store boutiques come March 1st. The line will offer dresses for special occasions, (proms, weddings, Met Galas?), with prices starting at $50 and peaking at $250. Chapman says the Pearl collection interprets the glamour of Marchesa for a poorer younger crowd: “It’s got a slightly different attitude, a younger attitude, but it all comes from me. It retains the same sensibility and design aesthetic. I wanted it be fun. So a young girl can put on a dress and imagine she’s about to have an incredible night out. I really wanted to reach a larger demographic and larger audience.” Bombers, any plans on snatching up a few pieces? (WWD)

• The ghoulish prints pervading Jeremy Scott‘s Fall 2013 collection looked rather familiar to eagle-eyed skateboard enthusiasts. Scott is being accused by the select group of possibly having plagiarized from graphic design team Jim and Jimbo Phillips. The artwork is indeed similar. What do you think? (Mannequinsf)

Love Magazine editor-in-chief Katie Grand has again teamed with Hogan for a limited edition accessories line. For the campaign video, Ms. Grand tapped Cara Delevingne to not only star in it, but to lend her vocal talents for the soundtrack. Yep- that’s an acapella recording of Ms. Delevingne singing ‘I Want Candy,’ and yes, she sounds really good. Like, startlingly good. The model is joined by a gaggle of her twirling, lip-synching friends– a team which includes  Doutzen Kroes, Edie Campbell, Eliza Cummings, Stephanie Seymour, Tallulah Harlech, Abbey ClancyLiberty Ross, and big sister Poppy Delevingne. Karl Lagerfeld gave WWD a little preview sketch of what to expect for Fendi‘s Fall 2013 offerings. Think there will be any fur? (WWD)
