Who Wore it Better? Tiny vs. Rocsi vs. Lauren London in Alice + Olivia’s Bethany Peplum Dress

Newlywed Tiny attended a special screening of the movie Takers wearing the same Alice + Olivia Bethany Peplum dress BET host Rocsi wore to the 53rd annual Emmy Awards Gala:

*Update: According to Fashion Bomb Facebook fan Krystin, Lauren London also wore the dress to the 2010 BET Awards pre-party dinner.
All ladies chose to accessorize the $331 dress with black heels, though Tiny added a diamond necklace and earrings for added effect. The safari green cocktail features a tonal sequined bodice and a ruffled peplum.

Though I’m not in love with this particular style, I must say I like Tiny’s interpretation better. Her blond hair contrasts nicely with the green of the dress, and her accessories do more to bring out the frock’s fun sequins.

Who Wore it Better? Lala vs. Kim Kardashian in Helmut Lang’s Silk Cowl Neck Top

Monica Rose styles both Kim Kardashian and Lala Vazquez, so it was a matter of time before the two started popping up wearing similar items. The friends have both been spied wearing Helmut Lang’s $150 Silk Cowl Neck Top.

Kim popped on the racer back tank in ivory with a coral belted skirt and animal print peep toe Louboutins. Lala wore the draped number in grey with an ivory blazer, black pants, and Christian Louboutin Rollerball Loafers.

Who wore the top better?

The Battle of the Wedding Dresses : Tiny vs. Alicia Keys

Several Bomb celebs got hitched this past weekend in lovely ceremonies that took place around the world.
Alicia Keys said “I Do” to uber producer Swizz Beatz in Corsica wearing a one shoulder grecian gown by Vera Wang. Meanwhile in Miami, Tiny said her vows to long term boyfriend T.I. wearing a strapless Valentino number accented with sizzling diamond jewels:

Let’s be honest, both ladies looked radiant on their big day!

Alicia’s generous gown was a perfect fit for the Mommy to Be, and her diamond tiara was spot on:

From what I can see, Tiny looked delightful, and her purple flowers were a nice touch.

Both ladies worked it for their wedding, but whose dress did you prefer?

Who Wore it Better? Kelis vs. Solange in nOir’s Sobat Triple Strand Beaded Necklace

Yesterday Fashion Bomb fave Solange wore the same $220 noir Sobat Triple Strand Beaded Necklace Kelis wore a few weeks back to her album release party:

Kelis wore the Kenyan inspired glass seed bead necklace with a black corset top and striped mini while Solange stuck to her quirky sensibility in a yellow patterned tank, black and white pants, and gold brogues.
It’s a tough choice. I like how the necklace picks up on Kelis’ hair and red lips, but also love how it works with Solange’s colorful outfit. I’d say it’s a tie!

Three Fashion Bomb Beauties have been spotted wearing Versace’s Spring 2010 Platform Sandals with spike details:

Ciara wore her strappy sky-high platform sandals with a Versace white top and skirt, Amber lived up to her rosy signature in a hot pink dress with a matching mani/pedi, and Dania kicked up her heels in a peach strapless dress:

The heels look lovely on all three ladies, but I must say I like how Dania’s dress picks up on the shoe’s wooden heel and pink accents. She gets my vote!

Trina recently posed on Twitter wearing the same D&G Pre-Fall polka dot jumpsuit Rihanna wore to a concert after party last week:

The ladies accessorized the look almost identically with black belts and black pumps, though Rihanna’s interpretation looks significantly more lively thanks to her red hair and nails.
It’s a tough choice!

Who Wore it Better? Rihanna vs. Jennifer Lopez in Lanvin’s Spring 2010 Aged Calfskin Dress

Lanvin dresses are beloved by many celebrities, including fashionistas Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez.
Both stylish beauties have been spied wearing Alber Elbaz’s Spring 2010 aged calfskin one shoulder dress:

While Rihanna kept the look simple in nude pumps, letting her fiery red hair prevail as her main accent, Jennifer Lopez played up the dark dress with an off-the-runway turquoise statement necklace and a dramatic bun.

Though Rihanna’s hair is growing on me, I think I prefer J. Lo’s look. Everything from her necklace to her satin pumps to her updo screams glamour. She really brought the dress to life.

Who Wore it Better? Beyonce vs. Lala in Alice + Olivia’s Army Green Wrapped Goddess Dress

Beyonce landed in London recently wearing the same $264 Alice + Olivia Army Green Wrapped Goddess Dress Lala chose for a date night with Carmelo:

While Bey jazzed her version up with a gray belt, chain strap purse, and hot green shoes, Lala went the classic route in gold sandals, a metallic minaudiere, and a stunning bib necklace.

Though Beyonce might be at a bit of a disadvantage having just hopped off a plane, I think I prefer her choice of accessories. She’s not at all matchy-matchy, but the forest green shoes and complementary belt totally work. Lala looks lovely of course, but I think Beyonce brought the dress to life.
