Hey Hey!
So I’m in Paris right now, getting ready to head out to my first shows for this leg of Fashion Week. It’s been a crazy and exciting month, but hopefully I can find time to relax in the city of lights!
Mail Bombs will be short and sweet. Let’s take a crack:
Martina writes, “Where can I get the shorts Rihanna is wearing?”

See, amongst all those hmm’s, Martina gives Rihanna a hot! At any rate, Rih stepped out the other day in a Wrangler Chambray Shirt, Christian Louboutin boots, a Trapstar Dream Team hat, and a pair of Levi’s shorts customized by the Ragged Priest.

Similar pairs of studded cutoffs are available in sizes 8, 10, and 12 at www.theraggedpriest.com. Get ‘em for £65 (approximately $103) here.
Next up, Tangila says, “Where could I find this dress???”

Emily did her best camera phone pose in a $455 Tiger Pop Dress by Wolford:

The form fitting mini also comes in a blue/black colorway…

…which Emily wore on the Red Carpet for BET’s Rip the Runway Fashion Show:

Get both options at www.wolford.com.
Stephanie says, ” I have been looking for a cute leather jacket for a minute now. Angela Simmons rocked a fitted cute black leather to the Rip The Runway show and I loved it.”

” Can you help me find it or something very similar to it.”
According to our sources, Angela rocked a $120 leather jacket from Timeless Boutique on Melrose in LA. Unfortunately the store doesn’t have online commerce, but you can get a similar look with these:
If you’re in LA, visit the boutique at 7614 Melrose Ave. And if only the original will do, I’m sure you can arrange to order over the phone. Call Timeless at 323-655-2133 for the scoop. And tell ‘em we sent you!
Next, Nadia says, “ Hi! I would love to find out where to get this look that Teyana Taylor is wearing in her upcoming music video!”

” Thank you!”

In a wardrobe query, Kathy says, “How can I perfectly wear a low backless top without having to go without a bra?”

” How can my girls look perky in a backless dress?”
Hey Kathy! I have a pretty ample bosom, and managed to find Le Mystere’s $64 convertible bra when I had a dress with a cut out back:
With regular cups in front, the bra has a low elastic strap in the back that can be pulled down (though I’m not sure how it would work out with a dress like Rihanna’s). If your bust is a bit smaller, you could try these ‘backless’ bras that stay in place with side adhesive:
Though the jury’s out as to how supportive those bras are.
Sometimes, if you are a certain size or have large breasts you can’t wear certain things. I’ve come to terms with not being able to wear anything tremendously low cut in front or the back– basically any item where I can’t wear a fully supportive bra. Those are the breaks…!
Speaking of support, Talya says, “ I was just browsing through the photos of you at the Essence Magazine Luncheon, and love the fit of that strapless dress you’re wearing.”

“… I am a petite, but very busty young woman (I wear a 32 G) and was wondering if you could recommend brands that make sexy, strapless undergarments that will secure the girls in place.”
I’m not sure about sexy, but I can give you tips on a bra that’s secure! I’ve been rocking with only one brand and one silhouette for several years to hold the girls in place: Fantasie’s Smoothing Strapless Bra.
Fantasie’s go from a D all the way up to H cups (and beyond) and are made to hold it down. That said, I can’t stress enough how important it is to get properly fitted. So go to the store, make sure you’re the right size, then indulge. It’s $69 and worth the investment!
Finally, there are few Mail Bombs I’d like to throw out to you guys to help answer!
Belynda says, “I got invited to a drag queen show and I dont know what to wear.”

” I did a little research and and it won’t be worth wearing a cute tight dress… HELP ME.”
I’m not 100% sure, but you usually can’t go wrong if you rock a blazer with a pair of skinny jeans in a dark wash along with some killer heels. Ladies, this outfit will work on most occasions (comedy show, dinner with the girls, even date night). Have fun with the color of the blazer and with the heels. You’re sure to look chic and polished. What do you think?
Lastly, Nek writes, “I will be turning 21 in June and have plans to go to the club. The problem is, I’m super tall, so dont feel comfortable wearing heels. “

“Do you have any club outfit ideas for me that look good without heels?”
If you want to go for a lower heel, why not opt for a chic pants suit or a jumpsuit? You’ll still look your height, but with the proper leg perhaps you can conceal a kitten heel or a pair of flats. Personally, if I were tall, I’d embrace my height and wear even bigger heels:

But that’s just me. All my tall ladies, what do you think?
That does it for today.
I have lots of writing to catch up on for Vogue.it, then am headed to my very first Lanvin show (yay!!).
Stay tuned to Twitter for a blow-by-blow of my Parisian exploits. And of course, we’ll be updating throughout the day.
A bientot.
Smoothes!
