Happy Monday Everyone!
This weekend I decided to get re-acquainted with my old neighborhood by attending Brooklyn Museum’s First Saturdays.
On the first Saturday of the month, the museum welcomes thousands of visitors to enjoy free programs, art, and entertainment. The museum is usually spilling over with fashionable people, so I contacted my favorite photog Rog Walker to come with me and capture the moment.

Our first subject was Boshia Rae-Jean, a dancer, model, and actress. She looked cute and simple in a printed white t-shirt and white pants, but what really brought it home for me….

…was her flipped Brooklyn hat. Cute.

I was super happy to run into style gurus and fellow bloggers Travis and Josh of the blog Street Etiquette. Travis (left) was rocking with a simple brown jacket with brown pants, while Josh added a bit of pop with a plaid shirt uplifted by beaded necklaces and hot red shoes.
I loved Elle’s eclectic style. She wasn’t afraid of patterns or colors, and embraced fun accessories like readers and a haute turban. Her Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy was a nice touch.
Rah, Adika, Derrick, and Mel just looked like they were having a great time vibing to the DJ and sipping mixed drinks. They almost looked coordinated in white and black t-shirts, uplifted by hats and visors with pops of red.
Thembi, Porscha, and Dre also looked like they were having fun. I loved Thembi’s colorful ocean grean blazer, and Dre’s funky half braided mohawk.
The flip up hats are back y’all! Rey was spied sporting one upstairs by the dancefloor, along with a Stussy jacket with a colorful graphic on the back.

Dope!

And lastly, I had to stop Ju, Shawn, and Spaglo. I was feeling the spiked details on Shawn’s Varsity jacket and Spaglo’s fresh glasses.
It was a fun night!
