An anonymous commenter revealed that Ms. Jones loves dresses by the line Stop Staring. Get her Heather Plaid dress for only $146…

Finally a wardrobe query!

Adriana found these bangers:

I’ll take #2!
That does it for today.

“…I’m not sure what it’s called but I think it’s awesome.”
Hmmm, looks like Chris is wearing a Snood, an accessory that is both a scarf and a hood. If you want to spend, Barney’s has this Elder Stateman version for $1,138:
If that’s too much, try this Fair Isle Knit Snood for $15 from Urban Outfitters:
Good luck!
Now for wardrobe queries!
Cynthia says, “Are sequined outfits going out of style? I saw this cute sequined skirt...”
“…and was wondering what it could be worn with? Would you suggest that I buy it (or will it be out of style?)”
Cynthia, sequins *never* go out of style. They’re the go to outfit adornment for any high wattage event:

For your skirt, I’d say let it shine on its own, and balance out the sparkle with a low key black jacket or blazer with an eye catching clutch (go for a saucy tux aura):

Left to Right: Guess Diamond Blazer, $90. Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Waistcoat, $69. Forever 21 Glitter Clutch, $17.
Lastly, Lisandra says, “I’m a 21-year-old college student and I am looking to put a few pairs of cute sneakers in my wardrobe. Something cute but still affordable, I don’t want to spend more than $100 unless they are just super cute. Please help me step my sneaker game up!”
Sure. Try these affordable options:

1. Creative Recreation ‘Cesario Lo’ Sneaker, $80. 2. Converse Silver Sneaker, $67. 3. Alexander McQueen Puma Shoes, $92. 4. Puma Mostro Perf Sneaker, $100. 5. Diesel Women’s Live Rush Sneaker, $40. 6. Adidas Adi Hoop Mid, $50. 7. Nike Track Racer Women’s Shoe, $75. 8. Creative Recreation ‘Dicoco’ Sneaker, $100.
Pssst, check out this vintage FB post on cute, fashionable sneakers (I wrote it right after I had foot surgery!)
That does it for today:)
Have fabulous weekends! Countdown to Fashion Week begins today!

“…can you tell me who designed it?”
Sure! Bey is wearing this cute and colorful Catherine Malandrino Jeweled Tank Dress:
…get it for $525 at www.net-a-porter.com.

Of course! Try these red hot options:
1. BCBG Tiered Satin Halter Dress, $200. 2. Sexy Ruched Halter Dress by Atria, $150.
Chanel says, “Rihanna has been photographed wearing some Black Wedge leather boots…”
“…Do you know who makes the ones she is wearing and where I can find them (and a similar inexpensive pair)?”
An anonymous Fashion Bomb tipster indicated that Rihanna is undoubtedly wearing these Balenciaga Black Wedge Boots…
…hot, but they’re currently going on Ebay for about $880. Eek!
If you’re watching your pennies, Adriana found these affordable alternatives:

Paula from London asks, “I was wondering where I can get the jacket Lauren London is wearing in this photo.”
“… I’m from the UK so I’m finding it difficult to track down!”
Adriana found that Lauren is wearing this Sean John Quilted Bomber with Detachable Hood:
Buy it here for $55.50
Now we have a few wardrobe queries!
First MK from DC says, “Help !! What can I wear with this skirt??”
Take a style cue from Julisa…
…and wear your bow skirt with a tight black top and opaque tights. Pop on a blazer for a chic finish!
And finally Jazsi says, “My name is Jaz and I LOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE FASHION. I am a senior in high school, and I am from Detroit, MI. My question is: Can you give me a few suggestions on prom dresses for the more curvy girl? I must show everyone that no matter what your size, you can still be fashionable.”
You got it. Try these plus sized prom appropriate options:

1. JS Boutique Beaded Ombre Dress, $198. 2. Robbie Bee Metallic Lattice Dress (Plus), $98. 3. Daisy Silk Colorblock Maxi Dress, $415.
These dresses stand out, yet are plain enough for you to add your own funky jewelry and accessories. You better shut it down (and send pictures)!
That does it!
Any big plans for the weekend? I planned a trip to Rome, but pushed it to the spring…too much traveling lately, and I’m feeling sick:(
Stay tuned later today for a contest and much more fashion fabulosity!
Bisous!
“Shopping your closet” has been one of the hottest terms thrown around since we were officially declared in a recession, and the Wall Street Journal‘s fashion maven Teri Agins shares the scoop on just how your fellow fashionistas are doing it.
Aside from tailoring your current pieces to jazz them up and selling jewelry you no longer wear (both of which Teri mentions), I’d also suggest tapping your friends to see if any of them need to do a closet purge. If enough people say yes, grab a few bottles of wine and invite everyone over for a chic closet swap party. It’s a fun way to edit your wardrobe, get some new pieces, and kick it with your girls all at the same time!
