Happy Monday!!!

How was your weekend?
I spent mine trying to nurse my skin back to life after trying on 50 million sequined outfits for the Fashion Bomb Sequins and Suits Holiday Party. Who knew one of my favorite textures could be so painful? Don’t be surprised if you see me at the party wrapped up in Ace bandages–but then I can spin it and say it’s Hervé Léger.
Anyway, tons of celebs were out and about so let’s see what was going down…

Monica Brown was spotted around New York City. LOVE me some Monica. The hair and makeup colors suit her warm complexion well and everything is set off by that mega watt smile. HOT!
Her outfit?

Cute! Monica always has the hottest jackets so no surprise here. She and her hubby Shannon Brown make such a cute couple.
Then over in Miami…

Usher and Mary J. Blige posed with producer Rico Love at a party for the producer’s 29th birthday. Mary took heed with the volume advice we dished out last week and wore a billowy teal wrap blouse along with her fitted jeans and TO DIE FOR matching teal boots. There is no denying Mary’s boot game even if this is a little bit matchy-matchy, it’s still HOT!
Major Hmm… to guys who wear shades indoors, though I do like Rico’s velvet blazer.

Gabrielle Union, Juwan Howard, Jenine Wardally Howard, and Deborah Cox also came out to party. Looking great, ladies!

Teairra Marie was picture-perfect on the red carpet. Loving the gold dress against her complexion. Hair and makeup on point, too. Good job, T!
Then over in Milan…

Venus Williams was spotted shopping it up. I love the suit and vintage bag, but I had to Google to see how old V is. She’s only 31! No girl, this won’t do—31 is VIBRANT! The hair ages her and some color on the face would add a more youthful glow. Sowwy, V—I love you but you’re too fab for this.
Serena Williams on the other hand…

…looks GOOOOOD! This is how you do age-appropriate business attire! What looks like a simple jersey dress is accented by a statement necklace, killer T-strap suede pumps, and a goes-with-everything black car coat. Hair and makeup show her fun side while still being polished. Brava, Serena! BRAVA!
Celebs were also spotted at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball 2011 concert…

Now there were plenty of other pics of Willow Smith at my disposal, but I HAD to post this one. Do you see how much fever lil’ Willow is giving the press? Ha! Bump the mic, I need to POSE. OK then, Willow. lol

Singer Taio Cruz also hit the concert. I love how a simple all-black outfit becomes much more interesting with the leather sleeves, looped scarf, and high-top kicks. But what is up with male celebs and these sunglasses at indoor events?

Flo Rida gave the ill little L.L. Bean catalog pose. I can dig the outfit, but please lose the shades.

OK—I don’t get Kat Graham. I don’t watch “Vampire Diaries” so not sure if her red carpet style is some sort of extension of the show or something. She’s a beautiful girl and her makeup is always gorgeous, but who keeps putting her in these outfits?

The silhouette is nice but the profanity on the jacket and the haphazard boots are baffling me. Am I missing something?

James Loney almost had me here with this clean-cut ensemble until I got to the shoes. I’d love to see a darker pair of dress shoes instead of the white sneakers.

Former “American Idol” contestant Syesha Mercado performed at a charity gala. She looks absolutely beautiful! I love the makeup, the hair color suits her well and I would dig the hairstyle if it were either all the way full or all the way sleek. I bet it looked great in person, but it photographs a little weird.

Nice outfit though—and do you see those legs? *whistles* Go ‘head, Syesha!
A more demure Nicki Minaj popped up at the Billboard Sixth Annual Women in Music Event…

You know—it’s hard to critique a Nicki Minaj outfit. Obviously they’re meant to make a certain statement to fit with her image so it’s safe to assume she wouldn’t normally wear stuff like this, but I don’t like the dress. It looks like something a Bob Mackie Barbie doll would wear—which might have been the point.

Can’t even say I like the hair and makeup though both are executed well–just not loving the colors. The turquoise liner kind of reminds me of white liner and white liner on the lids is always wrong.
Meanwhile in London…

Michelle Williams appeared at an X-Factor taping. LOVE the dress but would have loved to see it paired with a more daring shoe choice. Good seeing Michelle out and about though.
And since it’s X-Factor UK, you know Kelly Rowland wasn’t too far away…

I can’t co-sign on the dark liner/light lip color looks she’s been seen wearing a lot lately, but I do love when she wears her hair in a fringe like this. Cute jacket, Kelly! *waves back*

And finally, let’s check in on little Zahara Jolie-Pitt who was seen out and about with her family wearing the CUTEST little camel coat. Awww! She’s growing up so fast. Pretty soon you’ll be seeing a post titled “Snapshot: Zahara Jolie-Pitt Covers Harper’s Bazaar” here on the Fashion Bomb :)
That rounds it out, folks! Which look is your favorite this week?
