Beyonce arrived in Nice, France this past weekend, sporting new Illesteva Leonard 3 in Matte Horn Sunglasses and a black straw top hat.
The usually glam superstar toned her look down by opting for a $550 Helmut Lang Linen-blend blazer, along with a black lace camisole, matching skinny jeans, and a pair of $819 patent leather Giamarco Lorenzi Peep Toes with a white heel and doubled up platform sole.
Not in love with the hat, but hey, Bey’s been traveling. I actually think the outfit is kind of hot!
What say you, bombers and bombshells?
Beyonce continues her summer blitz, this time gracing the July 2011 cover of Dazed & Confused magazine:

In the spread, she licks ice cream and poses seductively in a series of technicolor and bespoke looks by Tom Ford, Riccardo Tisci, Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann, Stefano Pilati and Marc Jacobs.

I must say, this is one of the better Beyonce editorials I’ve seen in a minute.

Peep a short teaser here:

Beyonce covers Essence Magazine’s July 2011 cover with an exclusive on, “The Year that Changed [Her] Life.”

I actually put the pic up on Facebook before blogging about it. A few F Bomb Facebook fans said, “It looks old and dated … like 80′s, early 90′s … and the eyebrows, what’s up with the eyebrows? She is way more beautiful than she appears on this cover. I am disappointed that Essence dropped the ball … they were supposed to represent big time!” Someone else said, “She looks awesome but a little too unnatural!”
What do you think?

Praise the fashion gods!
It seems Balmain‘s decision to replace creative director Christophe Decarnin with Oliver Rousteing was only the first step in recreating the brand. The house has confirmed that they will be launching a new diffusion line in September called “Pierre Balmain,” after the founder of the fashion house. Balmain maintains the line will be more youthful and best of all, cheaper than the parent line.

With regular Balmain prices hovering around $3,000 for a dress and $5,000 for a jacket, we’re assuming ‘affordable’ means in the $300-$500 range…
Still, can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Happy Monday! *does the it’s Monday dance*
Hope you all had great weekends. Did you watch the Billboard Awards last night? I have to admit I only tuned in to watch Beyoncé‘s performance (and the totally sweet tribute to her before her mom presented her with the Billboard Millennium Award) and then turned the channel…lol.
And speaking of Bey…
She looked gorgeous as usual. I like when she does this wavy performance hair and the brown smoky eye is fab. Hot!
Kelly Rowland was in the building as well and I LOVE her makeup! Those purples and pinks look HOT on her skin tone. But the hair is underwhelming. It hides her pretty face.
And rounding out the Destiny’s Child reunion (was I the only one hoping after Bey performed they’d run up on stage and like…perform “Lose My Breath” or something?) was Michelle Williams. She looked all types of good with her ringlets and soft makeup. Hot!
Rihanna looked fierce on the red carpet. I wasn’t a fan of the hair but the angle of it in this pic looks good. Her makeup is completely on point. Hot!
I hope Keri Hilson keeps up with soft hairdos like this one. It seems to fit her more than the other uh—helmet head type styles she’s been rocking lately (she’s too pretty for that mess). The green and gold eye makeup is all that. Hot!
Wubba wubba wubba—it’s Downtown Julie Brown! I was half expecting her to wear a tutu, but realized she’s a grown woman now…lol. She looks great! And doesn’t she look like she could be Lynn Whitfield‘s cousin?
Mary J. Blige stepped in the scene with this very nice smoky eye and nude lip combo. Love the makeup, but the hair is very 1993. Or even “I Dream of Jeannie”-ish. Hmm…
I love how beat Nicki Minaj‘s face is—the brows, the eye makeup, and the skin are EVERYTHING. I wish she would ditch the brown lip liner all the time with her pink lipstick. And I’m completely against how far down this wig is pushed on her forehead. It’s like that model Anchal on ANTM before Tyra made her get her hairline threaded.
And finally Solange was spotted DJ-ing for a Range Rover event in NYC. She sported a blown-out fro and luminous makeup. I like! Hot!
That rounds it out, folks. What did you think of this weekend’s looks?
