Fashion Week is almost over and I fly out to London tomorrow! Today I’ll be running around trying to get last minute things coordinated, but first, I wanted to share my latest fashion week ensemble.
After my casual denim ‘fit, I went for a dressier vibe on Day 4 in a Milly Karina Degradé Satin Skirt and a coordinating Milly leather collar sweater.
My Valentino Noir Rockstud pumps are by far my most comfortable shoes! They’re perfect for running around Lincoln Center and all the nearby venues.
My Prada Baroque sunglasses are always a go. A bit of nude lipstick, and I was done!
Next stop, London. Who wants to pack for me?!?

*Random: As I was leaving Lincoln Center, editors for Buzzfeed asked me if I thought there was a diversity issue in the fashion industry. My answer:
People had varied responses.
What do you think?

Not my favorite ensemble of yours but I really like the skirt and shoes … generally speaking.
I wouldn’t have paired the “Peter Pan” collared top with the skirt, but other than that, I love it!
I would pack for you if your clothes was a size double zero then I would run off with the suitcase!! You have great taste!! Your smile is beautiful, locks are amazing, your skin is flawless, and your legs will give Serena Williams a run for her money. Those are your greatest assets. Never met you so I don’t know about your personality and I’m new to your site. I bet your personality is very down to earth though!!
Very cute, Claire! And isn’t it a little bit poetic that your tattoo is a bit of an add-on to your response to Buzzfeed’s question?
I love your skirts, this one is a fave of mine also.
This is actually my fave this week, but you already know i love it.
I love how as the shades of people got lighter, their opinion on issue of diversity was that it is less dire….
INTERESTING.
I’ll pack…MYSELF in the luggage!
Fab!!!
@Jihan that’s what I noticed as well. But Claire the skirt looks fab on you. I must admit you look your best in skirts and dresses.
I love that skirt.
The skirt is nice, but the top is meh at best.
I like this outfit
I just went on the buzzfeed website, I hope you got a picture of the lady in the orange outfit on you street style post. Cant wait to see.
I think you look amazing! That pink really pops and your face is pure attitude! LOVES!
Cute Claire !! And I agree @jihan
I don’t think I’ve ever uttered this phrase but…I live!
Jihan… I noticed that too… They pink on that skirt is so vibrant I love it!

Cute skirt but no to the top. A v-neck would have worked better because of your big bust. It makes the whole silhouette so odd. But I love the hair and shades as usual.
And please bloggers, let go of those IT items like those Valentino heels, that too popular Celine and Phillip Lim Pashli totes, etc. There are way too many fabulous shoes and bags to choose from to stick to what is on everybody and their mama.
You people got THREE responses to the diversity question and conclude from that. Well, okay.
Skirt is nice, top is nice. It’s just not nice together.
I notice that a lot of people have started to criticize Claire’s outfits after the Coctails with Claire.
Is that a coinceidence?
Just sayin’
Love that skirt!
idk…. the outfit is super cute, but maybe on a smaller breast woman….just my opinion, but top heavy women have got to be careful.
as per your legs are killing it…. Claire you know you are quite fabulous and very nice in person too !
wrong top, cute tattoo
*screams* yesssss Claire love it!
Claire… your legs…I love… that is all!!!
I love the skirt. I agree with @fly won.
not feeling this look…the shirt with the skirt, not good and the shoes…so over the valentino shoes. i agree with @emma
i agree with @emma…not feeling the shirt with the skirt and the valentino shoes are so typical….great skirt though just not with the top
not feeling the outfit period. Not everybody can wear a full skirt. The shoes does nothing for the outfit. Very bad fashion week – try again tomorrow.
Great look! I love the skirt.
Claire you are such a beautiful woman. You are quite the role model in fashion and business. keep doing it girl!
Love the outfit, Claire. From head to toe. Shirts with peter pan collars can make us more endowed women look even larger, however, I’ve seen you in person and you’re much more svelte than what pictures portray. I love the outfit in the pics and I’m sure I would love it even more in person.

Perfect!!!
I agree with EVERYTHING Jihan said lol.
Claire, LOVE the whole look…espeically those shades! #werk! :)
I think this “LOVELY” person has something against Claire…she be dissing her on every post.
This works for you! skirts and heels. I love it.
@A no we people got the information from the link located within the last paragraph that takes you to another site in which from there we gathered a conclusion based on atleast a dozen.
@Claire – top and skirt are paired to perfection. Really balances the silhouette. @Jihan – preach and ain’t that always the way? If it’s not a problem for you – then it’s not a problem, right?
you better werqqq bish!! (i mean that in the most endearing way. I bet you this is one of those looks that looked even better in person.
I find @Lovely’s posts hilarious because she’s clearly a hater. Did Claire do something to you? Or is it that you wish you looked as fly or could be as successful?
Claire, you would definitely turn heads in this outfit. However, in the photographs, I don’t love the proportions of the skirt with the top. Some outfits do look better in person.
@the truth. i actually agree with lovely…not feeling this look on her. why is it that someone has to be hating just because they don’t agree or kiss someone’s butt like most do, smh
@Anonymous and @Lovely I can see your IP addresses. You’re friends with Candace from Chicago (if not Candace from Chicago herself)…the beleaguered Bombshell who wrote me 200 e-mails asking me to take down her post because she wasn’t a fan of the negative feedback. So now you’re trolling my posts…really cute. Hurt people hurt others (or try to).
At any rate, good day, and thanks for reading!
Claire since you read IP address then you would know that Lovely has commented on a lot of Bombshells so please take my comments for what they are – My true feelings. Everyone is entitle to how they feel about fashion. Sorry but I don’t agree with your point of view. I am sure you have fans of your own. Enjoy their comments.
P.S . Check the IP address again – I do not know Candace from Chicago.
@Lovely You’re so pressed though…several days later and you’re still commenting on this post. Speaks volumes.
