Time for another Style Diary!
Day 3 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week was a Saturday, so I opted for casual cool in a denim on denim outfit, comprised of a 10 Crosby Derek Lam Shirt (similar to this) and R13 jeans.

I’m feeling clear perspex clutches these days, so somehow managed to fit all I need into this cute option I found from Carbon Showroom.

A pair of mirrored Ray Bans for the sun, Jimmy Choos on my feet, and my outfit was complete.

  13. This is not a good look, dark jeans would have been better. I thought you were a stylist. Your face is too bronze, tone down the makeup!!! Less is more. Your looks have not been working Girl!

  15. :-) Glad you said something to lovely Claire. Your skin is flawless in person and the makeup that you do wear only enhances it….. I don’t like this look though. I would have liked a skirt on you better with this top. Also if you were to roll up the jeans a bit i think i could get into it.

  17. Are you guys crazy! Claire looks so cute. You don’t always have to do dark denim and light denim. I mean isn’t fashion about thinking outside the box or what you normally always see. This look is perfect Claire and nevermind these naysayers.

    The crazy thing is if Kim or Beyonce wore this people would be like work it. You rocked it!

  24. I like the shirt, kind of menswear inspired no?

    And the denim on denim trend, I believe you can either take the monochromatic route or do pair complete opposites (light versus dark denim).

    I’ve always shied away from the “Canadian tuxedo” for years, but I may give it a shot one of these days.

  27. Beautiful face. But I don’t like this look. The fit of the jeans is off. Maybe a pair of super skinnies would’ve looked better. And a different pump. It looks as if your feet are ready to come out.
