This black Alexander McQueen jacquard short tier dress is a seductive piece from the label’s Resort 2016 collection, which displayed a mix of both old and new. This intricate silk-blend dress features thin black straps, a fitted bodice complete with boning, built in bra construction, organza layering throughout the skirt and a back zip fastening. Green and pale purple embroidery has been worked into the dress which grows in size towards the hem.
A fitting choice for a charitable occasion, the dainty embroidery and slightly modest length offset this black frock. But at $2,395 is it worth the splurge? Well, Paula seems to think so.
