• Splurge: Jennifer Hudson’s Hope for Children Gala Givenchy Crepe de Chine Sleeveless Blouse, White Double Knit Skirt, and Nappa and Suede Sandals

Jennifer Hudson was clad in head to toe Givenchy at the Hope for Children Gala in New York City. For the night, she paired a $1,265 Crepe de Chine Sleeveless Blouse with a $1,325 White Double Knit Skirt and $1,075 Nappa and Suede Sandals:

Her silk crepe de chine blouse is minimalist chic, featuring a hidden front button closure and a metal push lock closure on the neck.

Her skirt boasts an arched asymmetric hem.

Last, but not least are her sold-out nappa leather sandals which feature PVC and silver metal stiletto heels, large ankle straps with metallic twist locks, and 4″ heels.

Cassie wore a similar style in Cannes.

Work Jennifer! Only thing that is stopping this look from being perfect is her hair: these pieces call for sleek locks. I would have preferred straight hair or a ponytail here.

If you’re up for the splurge, you can get her blouse at www.forwardforward.com and her skirt at www.ssense.com.
