I decided to bookend this week with the final set of flix from the 2014 Afropunk festival.
Brandon Isralsky truly put his all into capturing intriguing, eclectic, thought provoking, and undeniably stylish looks.
Let’s dive right on in to part 2!
Mirrored round sunglasses and bold jewelry offset this fun mixed print ensemble.
A fringed, rainbow hued cardigan provided a playful contrast against an all white look. Purplish blue and pink sneakers brought everything together.
It was all about prints at Afropunk! To whit this multicolored, pocketed frock.
An ice cream motif tee and National Enquirer printed shorts were this young man’s choices for the day. He threw up his ring finger for added sartorial effect.
Friend who slay together, stay together. To whit, this hat wearing duo, who stood out despite their dark colored garments.
This young man added edge to all denim with a series of cool patches.
Crop tops and skirts were ubiquitous! Red leather was this fashionista’s choice for the festivities.
Black netted material on this sassy set undoubtedly kept this festival goer cool.
And this siren offered a 90’s twist with a satin skirt and two long braids.
A printed kaftan was an adventurous choice for this bespectacled gent.
And lastly, lots of ladies matched their hair to their outfits. I’m all in for the purple princess, down to her lace up platforms. Fire!
What do you think of this final installment of Afropunk Street Style?
