Real New York Street Style: Fall / Winter 2013

So the temps are slowly but surely dropping in Gotham city, and Brandon Isralsky is out to document the city’s sartorial transition.
The weather is brisk, but not too cold, allowing New Yorkers the chance to show off their layering prowess and cool, functional, fashionable toppers.
See how we’re doing it in NYC:
Mixed textures are always on trend, as this Prada Baroque sunglasses sporting fashionista displays. Her fur, leather, and wool coat is chic yet warm; dark tones bring it all together.
Layers are always good this time of year. I’m feeling the gilded dress, cool shades, and wool wide brimmed hat.
This young man kept it fly and funky in a printed button down, denim jacket, and matching yellow socks.
Leather is timeless! This young lady placed a quilted option over a long top and close fit leggings.

A statement coat is a great way to keep every look interesting.
A spotted option was on tap for this fashionista. The addition of a green fedora and fur scarf made her pop even more. I love it!
Lastly, shearling is always fabulous. Invest in a neutral color so you can wear it for winters to come.
What do you think of these shots?
