• On the Scene: VIBE’s 20th Anniversary Inaugural Impact Awards Event

Stars were on-hand to give Mary J. Blige her due praise at VIBE’s 20th Anniversary Inaugural Impact Awards Event at the Sunset Towers in Hollywood. There is no shortage of celebrations in Tinseltown leading up to the GRAMMYs, thus notable faces in the music, film, and entertainment industries kicked off the weekend’s festivities in style.

    Check out the night’s ensembles:

Mary J. Blige gave glamour in a black fur, leather opera gloves, and a $550 L’Agence Keyhole Wide Leg Jumpsuit. Hot!

Metallics were mixed on Karrueche Tran in a silver mini dress and gold strappy sandals.

Diddy and Swizz Beatz were in attendance, laughing about which one of them was the better dressed male. Swizz, I’ll take your Chanel hat please!

Big Sean looked dapper in the classic color palette of black and white. It’s nice to see him pared-down isn’t it?

All-black was Keke Palmer’s choice for the night, though she uplifted her monochromatic look with leather panel skinny pants.

Queen Latifah gave a little flair to her ensemble with a pair of $191 B Brian Atwood Sparkle Ankle Strap Booties.

I liked the idea of Nick Cannon’s suit, but it was ruined with the belt and visible tank underneath. Sigh.

A floor-length embellished gown was Bridget Kelly’s choice for the event.

MC Lyte wore a strapless LBD with a pair of patent leather ankle-strap pumps.

I love SWV (like every woman in her mid-20s should), but they looked a bit like Sisters Who Came From The Mall.

Last, but not least was Wayne Brady who looked great, but should have opted for a black fedora.

    Any looks catch your eye?
