• Are you ready for another fashion glossy? E-commerce site Net-A-Porter is set to launch its very own print magazine. On Wednesday, chief executive officer Mark Sebba brought up the venture saying, “It isn’t a secret that Net-a-porter will be publishing a major fashion magazine within the next 12 months or so.” Though they currently offer an online magazine and print version to select customers and hotels, the company is looking to compete on a much broader scale. An exact launch date and distribution partner are yet to be announced. (WWD)

• Turns out the real reason why Raf Simons was “unceremoniously dumped” from Jil Sander was because his designs weren’t bringing in enough coins. The Wall Street Journal reports, “During much of Simons’s tenure, the company remained solidly in the red. Last year, revenue was up 14 percent and almost broke even, but that was due, in large part, to ‘cutting costs and a more selective distribution.'” With all the acclaim his collections garnered from fashion critics, it’s surprising that it didn’t translate to actual sales! Part of the reason Jil Sander was reinstated as creative director of her eponymous label was because the company believed that her vision would increase profits. (WSJ)

Dolce & Gabbana‘s “The One Desire” fragrance might be brand new, but the brand is still using the same ‘ol predicatable actresses to front the campaign to trick the average American into buying it. Scarlett Johansson‘s beautiful face will grace the ads of the new fragrance, which “industry sources” think could bring the label almost $150 million per year. (WWD)
