Happy Black Friday!
While I’m sure most of you are hitting the pavement shopping, I’m chilling at home, seeing what’s popping at Net-a-Porter, Alexander Wang, and more! After a bit of retail therapy, I’m going to my homegirl’s house for Friendsgiving. I have to prepare my dish, so Mail Bombs will be a tad hasty.
First, Beth writes, “I need these shoes in my life.”
“… Who designs them and what is the price? Thanks!”
These heels looked oh-so-familiar, and it was bugging me that I couldn’t find them! I finally clicked over to SoleStruck.com to peruse their crazy shoes and happened upon these $189 Jeffrey Campbell Clinic wedges:
Fashion Bomb reader Beans was also on SoleStruck, and found these Jeffrey Campbell Zander Wedges for $309:
Close, right? But not exact, which makes me think the JC’s are inspired versions of Nicki’s actual shoe. The hunt is still on, alas, but if you don’t mind the look for less, get the options above at SoleStruck and Misskl.com.
*In my searches, I’ve found posts saying Jeffrey Campbell’s Clinics and Zanders are knock offs of shoes in Akiko Ogawa’s Fall 2009 line. No confirmation yet, but it’s looking like Nicki’s shoes are unavailable. Stay tuned.
*Beth recently wrote in with the update! She wrote, “With a little patience I was able to find the recently dropped Jeffrey Campbell Zoya shoes that I had inquired about.”
” The only place I’ve been able to find them is on Solestruck for $284.”
Thanks, Beth! Get Nicki’s shoes here.
Next up, Ashley types, ” I’m Ashley Milan and I wanted to inquire about the dress Tiny is wearing in the picture below. Thanks!!”
It looks like Tiny might have been gifted this Lotus Hot Pink/Red dress by Ekineyo:
It has a similar subtle ombre hue. Get it for $188 here.
Jade says, “ Hi! I saw Kendrick Lamar wearing this beanie in a recent interview and I was wondering if you knew who made it?”
” Thank you!”
Kendrick rocked the mic in this $20 Peace, Love, and Money Beanie by EdistSew:
Get it here.
Simone says, “What dress is Emily wearing here?”
It looks like she’s wearing this now sold out $2,200 Roberto Cavalli Zebra Print Jersey gown (previously spied on Jennifer Hudson):
Caliente! It’s no longer available, but check out current Cavalli offerings at RobertoCavalli.com.
Nicole effuses, “This all white romper Tracee Ellis Ross wore on black girls rock … i love it and want to know where I can find this at.”
Tracee is lucky enough to have Diana Ross as a mother! She borrowed the Norma Kamali vintage onesie from her mom’s closet. Unfortunately ’tis not the season for white playsuits; check back in the spring for the look for less.
Dori writes, “ALoha, I live in Hawaii, to find exclsuive/hottest fashion items from shoes to clothes to simple things, its always hard for me to find on this island. Could you tell me where I can get these leather Nets fitted please?”
“.. Thank you, your site always make my day at work go faster :)”
So sweet! According to a few sources, the Just Don Brooklyn Nets all leather caps will be available in limited quantities at the BBC store in New York starting on Black Friday! Call them at (212) 777-2225 to see if you can order over the phone. And tell ’em the Fashion Bomb sent ya!
Nichole says, “I have been looking for Tamera Mowry’s boots EVERYWHERE! I love these boots and would REALLY like to purchase a pair of them for Christmas. Please help.”
Not sure, though it seems you can get a similar pair pretty much anywhere. These Steve Madden Girl Zellie boots have a similar color and are a steal at $80:
If not, perhaps someone can chime in with the exact brand!
Which brings us to Unsolved Mail Bombs!
Natasha writes, “I love this dress worn by Kim K.!!!”
Tiffy says, “Can you please help me find this skirt. I love the whole outfit but I really want that skirt.”
Lastly, Ashleigh from Australia writes, ” Can you please please please tell me the designer ID on this dress. I have been searching high and low.”
I wish I knew! But I don’t. Hopefully one of you in cyberspace can help us out!
I’m off to salvage the rest of this day.
Have great weekends and don’t shop too much!
Until next week…
