Today I’m taking a slight break from Fashion Week madness to solve some Mail Bombs! Queries have picked up quite a bit…let’s go!
Kristine wrote in saying, “Do you know where I can get boots like the ones Amerie is wearing?”
“I’ve been looking for these types of boots EVERYWHERE and cannot find them.”
Sure! Get Amerie’s taupe boot look with these:
Next, Stacey says, “I was wondering if you could do a post on the jumpsuit Zoe Kravitz wore while at Chateau Marmont with her family last week…
“…I love love loveee her style!”
Hey Stacey! We couldn’t find Zoe’s exact jumpsuit, but you can get the look with any of these options:
Jennifer says, “I love Rihanna’s spiked jeaned jacket from this Week in Chic..”
“Where can I get it?”
We did a quick search and found Rihanna is wearing a Killer Couture jacket by the brand Blessed & Cursed:

In a wardrobe query, Porscha from Louisiana says, “I am planning a trip to see my sweetie in Nashville in a couple of weeks. I found a really cute black polka dot romper at Torrid. I think it’s so adorable and would be a great outfit for a date with my boo. My problem is I have no idea what type of shoes to wear with it. Should I wear ballet flats, gladiator sandals, wedges, platforms…I’m just at a loss. Any ideas? Should I go for black shoes or a pop of color? Please please help me find a pair of cute and affordable shoes to wear. Thanks again in advance!”
“P.S. There’s a huge height difference between my boo and I. I’m 5’2″ and he’s 6’4…”
Hey Porscha! Your romper is super cute! Since it boasts a cute polka dot pattern, pick a bright, show stopping shoe that will show off your personality without taking away from the dotted print. Go for a high, seductive heel; if comfort is key, ditch the stilettos in favor of comfy wedges (but stash some cute flats in your bag in case your dogs start barking):
Lastly, in an e-mail titled, “I’m starting to get a little frustrated,” reader Jessica writes, “I’m a 23-year-old black female who struggles with her weight!! I have recently become very fashionable and trendy…yep yep, I’m growing up!”
“… But I don’t know where to look to find trendy affordable clothes in my size. Everyone says Torrid…but I’m getting tired of Torrid! Can you do a list of all the top plus size shopping sites? Please please please please!!!”
Of course we can! I know the Fashion Bomb doesn’t do nearly enough on plus size stylistas, but we have covered quite a bit in the past (check out our category www.fashionbombdaily.com/category/plus-sized). In the meantime, here’s a short list of our favorite plus size style websites:
*Go to Monifc.com for alluring cocktails in vibrant colors, shapes, and silhouettes. This fun and flirty $208 rainbow sequin dress is perfect for the curvaceous fashionista who loves to shine at social events:

*I really like Jibri’s clothes (www.jibrionline.com). They rock with trendy silhouettes like peplum dresses and asymettrical styles, and are all for women size 14-24.
