On the Scene: W Magazine’s The Best Performances Portfolio Celebration

Hollywood’s most stylish were on hand at W Magazine’s The Best Performances Portfolio Celebration with Cadillac and Dom Perignon at Chateau Marmont. Ladies showed up and showed out in high-fashion looks: no two alike, with an array of brands and trends covered. A few fashionable gents were also in the mix.

On The Scene- W Magazine’s The Best Performances Portfolio Celebration

Let’s get into the fête’s ensembles!

Lupita Nyong’o flaunted her enviable figure in a Proenza Schouler Resort 2014 cutout frock and a $564 Small Calf Hair Lunch Bag Clutch from the brand. Does she ever have an off day?

Naomie Harris's W Magazine Golden Globes Celebration Marni Spring 2014 White Tunic Dress with Embroidered Hand Cut Stones

Naomie Harris went high-fashion in an embroidered Marni dress and $1,250 Jimmy Choo Tamber Sandals. Hot!

Ashley Madekwe stuck to the classic color palette of black and white in a strapless stripe Giorgio Armani dress with a PVC bodice. Cute no?

Idris Elba offset a plaid ensemble with iconic $495 Gucci Horsebit Loafers. Swoon.

Sofia Vergara is always gorgeous and she didn’t disappoint in a long-sleeve lace detailed bodycon dress. I would love to see Sofia step out of her comfort zone in 2014. She has the face and body for just about anything and I want to see her wear something unexpected!

Cara Santana was the picture of Mod perfection alongside fiancé Jesse Metcalfe.

Mommy-to-be Olivia Wilde uplifted an all-black ensemble with a Gucci dress. Pregnancy looks good on her!

I wished for Jared Leto for Christmas! Alas, Santa did not deliver, but that’s fine: seeing him out and about in rocker chic looks like the above is all I need…for now.

Girls’ Allison Williams went fresh-faced in all-black Calvin Klein Collection. Let’s be honest: the woman is stunning.

Amy Adams tried on an Antonio Berardi dress for size, accenting it with Christian Louboutin pumps.

Molly Sims opted for a coral embellished dress and matching lips for the occasions. Beautiful no?

Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland had one of my favorite ensembles of the night, opting for a top knot, a tangerine-hued Camilla and Marc dress, and a colorful python Monika Chiang clutch.

It was all about prints for Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery who couldn’t be missed in a colorful plaid Altuzarra sheath and bright accessories. Cute!

Marisa Tomei really has this effortless chic thing down. She managed to wear orange and black at the event without skewing Halloween. Brava!

Cate Blanchett is rarely seen smiling and I don’t know why! She looked radiant in a crop top and high-waist trousers from Stella McCartney, Roger Vivier booties, and a statement necklace from Kara Ross.

Designer Jeremy Scott and model/actress Liberty Ross posed together at the party. I loved Liberty’s Emilio Pucci dress and Tom Ford pumps!

Rodarte’s Laura Mulleavy kept it casual in a printed blouse and denim.

Last, but not least was Amber Valletta who showed us all that she is indeed aging backwards in a black suit.

Whose look caught your eye?
