So we’ll be asking for nominations on who you think should be Bombshell of the Year on December 15th.

Should the lovely Yolanda from Maryland be in the running?

She says,“Fashion is art to me…it’s so much fun and there are so many ways to express your sense of style.”

“… I would describe my style as classy vintage with a hint of sexiness!”

“… I’m a mother of two little princesses so my budget is very slim (lol) which shifted me to the world of thrifting! I love thrift store shopping and that’s where I find a lot of vintage items.”

“… On a typical day I’m rocking a blazer, simple top, boyfriend or skinny jeans and some killer heels and accessories!”

“.. That’s a simple equation to style perfection! Fashion is fun on a budget so I can only imagine how much fun it is when you are balling!”

Alright! Yolanda also blogs for NecoleBitchie.com and for www.etcblogmag.com. Be sure to check her on out.
What do you think?

  1. this girl should not be even featured in this… no versatility whatsoever. BIG NO!

and please Miss Claire , do not accept these poorly taken pictures.
If they can afford to dress, they SURELY can afford a camera!

  2. umm I give her the first look and thats it… and even that was like ehhh..very basic & boring, and something’s off with the lighting in the pictures and that doesn’t help AT ALL, pls pls pls give us some real FASHION BOMBS next week

  3. All yall talking about “No No No”, how about yall submit yourself to be featured. Sheesh take a seat! Lol

Cute Girl. I like the tie and scarves. Not much versatility, but its her style and she owns it.

  4. Her style is simple and polished and she looks very classy as a mom. Some of the ratchet half naked mothers on my fb page need to take note of this. I think she’s a fashion bomb.

  5. @ NicoleS

Submitting my picture isn’t gonna change the fact that she is NO fashion bombshell and that she uses a CHEAP camera!

  6. i mean i guess she can dressed, but she’s definitely not a bombshell. anyone could pull these looks off after looking at couple of magazines.

  7. Her outfits are typical everyday wear. She dresses nice, but no real WOW factor. With that being said, she has some nice pieces that could have easily been taken to the next level. In the end, my opinion doesn’t really matter so do you boo :)

  8. I think it’s classy and cute! Having style doesn’t mean wearing outrageous clothing. She has a simple wearable style which works for me! If this is what she wears on the daily I think she looks very chic. In regard to her camera, she did say she was on a budget…I’m not going to crucify her if she doesn’t have a fancy camera. Look past the picture quality and focus on the clothes. I LOVE IT!

  9. I like her because her style is her style and that’s just it period, point blank. It’s like I am who I am hate it or love it, it is what it is, blazers allll day with a cute smile.

  10. In the running for bombshell of the year?… ROFL…now thats hilarious, not even for the day. Yay…cant wait to vote on the 15th, already have one name in mind.

  11. Claire really needs to turn this comment thing off because grown women have to be treated like children apparently. What happened to women supporting each other? She deserves to be a bombshell simply because she’s a mother. As far as I’m concerned that the most beautiful outfit any woman can own!

    You go girl!

  12. She’s a fashionista on a budget, so I’ll give her a pass. She’s a cute girl and has some nice pieces I would wear. I love the blazer and tie on her, jut not with the leggings.

  13. I love the androgynous look and try to do it alot on my blog. Im not completely WOW’d by her style though. Although its classic and polished, it doesnt make me want to see more. I don’t think bombshell of the year but I certainly think shes cute

  14. B-0-R-I-N-G, there is no way you blog about celebs and you dress that frumpy. If you go into black hollywood, the would look at you like you are crazy! the fit is messy and lets just keep it real, NOTHING WAS STYLISH! not even that fur with the janet jackson rhytm nation cap. I see her “trying” to have style, but it just looks a little messy and thrown together. At the end of the day you are bold and keep doing your blong thing miss lady.

  15. Why is it that so many of the submission’s description of their style and what we actually see don’t ever match up? I don’t see vintage, or sexy in any of these pictures. Throwing on a scarf does not make your outfit vintage, and showing your ankles does not make your outfit sexy.

As someone said up top, “she’s wearing clothes” and that is the most fitting description of this entry. A woman wearing clothes.

  16. there is nothing in her look to distinquish her from the next chic wearing jeans and thinking “if I add a blazer from Goodwill and a scarf from Target”..I AM A FASHION BOMB.

Gonna have to give her a thumbs down for being boring, having bad lighting and submitting this mess.

  17. Everything looks the same I’ll pass on this one Claire please bring the heat next week cause this past one was a bore

  18. I like 2 of her looks. 2 arent really flattering [fur vest] and it makes her look bigger than what she is. The look with the scarf is a major fail. She just has it sitting there and the boy jeans doesnt mesh well with it. Her hair could be better too. Kinda makes it look unpolished. I do think she has a decent, simple style though. Meh

  19. I like the blazer and tie of the first outfit. It’s too bad the quality of the other photos are so poor, can’t really get a feel for the others.

I wish the comments were not so harsh though. I get that she’s put herself out there to be criticized but there’s no need to go overboard. That’s just my 0.02.

  20. The concept of some of the outfits seems fun and creative, but it is important to wear things that are fashionable and accommodates the shape as well.

  21. No versatility and quite boring. I hope this week is better.

P.S. Every time someone toots their horn too loud in describing their personal style, they’re always a BIG NO.

  22. Say what you will but I like her look. Its professional…polished and that shows versatility and mileage; being in mom mode to work mode without having to do time consuming wardrobe changes. It’s smart and practical style and it speaks volumes. It’s realistic.

  24. Nope. Not feeling it. She should be careful of losing her neck with some of these big collars and scarves. Also, there is a BIG difference between thrift-ed clothing and vintage. People buy things from thrift stores and call it vintage because it sounds better when it is not.

  25. all of her styles were basically the same concept and all her hair styles were the same. I like when fashion to has some kind of diversity.

  26. I think she looks nice in all of her outfits, when you are on budget, and have children you can’t always buy the things you want, real mother’s put there children first
