I’m rushing to the airport, as I’m headed to down south for Cocktails with Claire Atlanta (have you RSVP’d yet? If not, do so here).
To bless my Southern excursion, I decided to feature Georgia Peach, Whitney, as Bombshell of the Day:

  1. Bombshell. I got several ideas viewing your threads. YAS. Printed denim, peachy-pinky crop and t-strap pumps was my fav.

  2. Much better than your first submission. I would say that your simple looks where you don’t have on 3 different patterns are much better than your busy ones. Simple elegance > imitation Solange any day. Great job this go around.

  3. For example… the pink shirt and black and white jeans, the first outfit and the blue dress were your best looks. And they all only had 1 pattern. In my opinion.

  4. gorgeous colors (esp. the blue my fave!), textures, backgrounds, smiles!

everyone should strive to feel how you look in the yellow kimono: fresh, happy & free!

    very inspiring! :-D

  5. I don’t like it all [1&3 are my likes] but she takes pics in great locations and she seems to have a great spirit.

  6. @anon please stop hating this girl does not look a mess, and it takes a lot to make me look twice. It’s been bombshells that look a mess, but she is not one of them. Lets be honest in our comments ladies, or else we just come across as looking real bitter. Fashion is about being different it’s an art, it’s not about how much something cost or what designer made it or color her hair should be (but it is her hair). But ya’ll will find something wrong with just about anything?

  7. Whitney sounds a HOOT! There was a lot to like this time around and the hat came back in this submission :) Fav Fit: White/blue mini dress in the forest.

  8. I guess there will never come a day that black women admit the truth about blonde hair that comes from a bottle??

PLEASE STOP DYEING UR HAIR BLONDE- it never ever flatters our skins tones if we werent BORN WITH IT.

From the Lightest to the Darkest sister- STOP dyeing your hair this unnatural, unflattering color.

    STOP IT

  9. That blond hair messed it up! Please Whitney, I’m not trying to be mean, but that blond is not for you! It makes you look harsh.

  10. I natural gravitate to styles that are what some would consider as “safe” or “boring” but this girls style is amazing! I typically hate mixing patterns but she does it well, impeccably well.

I too agree with the blonde hair, if you want to stand out stand out but for the right reasons. That color is too harsh for your skin tone (I too am a darker shade of woman so no shade) but the comment about black women not having natural blonde hair-fall back. My ex, who’s black, had a good amount of blonde admits his brown hair. I’m natural but there’s no reason to be a pro-black Nazi. Its really off putting.

  11. Afrocentric bombshell! Nice looks… and a little different from what we typically see. I really like that yellow cardigan. I agree with a couple of the other posts on the hair though. The color does not complement her
