If you go look at her blog she has better looks there. Still hits and misses though IMO. She could’ve had a better submission had she used some of those. I’m not feeling any of her shoes, but she likes it so that’s what matters. If you don’t feel pretty you certainly won’t look it.
First off, I like the idea of most of the outfits she chose to submit but they lacked something that I can’t seem to put my finger on. But I’ll say this, she’s uber pretty and her makeup and those blonde single braids are soooo cute!
Meme, I don’t understand your point in putting down blacks or black Americans. Personally, I don’t see any outfits on this particular blogger that speak to me or that inspire. She is cute and I love her blond braids, but her style is not mine nor is it one that I can borrow from. I am 115lbs but still thought yesterday’s blogger had a nice fashion package (sans the shorts which I did not find flattering on her) in terms of the cuts of her clothes, her use of colors and accessories. If your opinion differs from mine and most of the responses today, that’s fine, but its really cheap to suggest that we don’t like her style because we are jealous African American women. Really cheap.

Meme, its not that profound. She is a nice looking lady that looks put together but I don’t find the outfits on her incredibly interesting, flattering or inspiring. Yesterday’s bombshell was plus size and I did not love the look of the shorts on her but without scrolling back can recall an interesting red dress outfit with turquoise accessories. If you have a couple of outfits that grab my attention and make me think twice about the way I put an outfit together, then I will consider you a bombshell (even if you have larger thighs than mine).

@mimi, and @star…please do not generalize Americans in that way. Not all of us hate on pretty girls. Just because some people are not too fond of her style doesnt mean we’re hating. And a girl can be gorgeous and have a questionable sense of style. And as for the plus size model, not all the looks were great, but her choice of how she put things together was stylish. If anything, it seems like you (@mimi) might have a problem with big girls, as you were focusing on her weight and not the fashion.

She has hits and misses, more misses than hits. I, personally, do not like her style. It’s not a set look, it looka too inspired and not much of her own. As if she hasn’t found her identity. There was nothing that was, “WOW” to me in a good way. It clashed, BUT I will say you can see the effort.
As far as the American backlash, every country has their own style, London, the grunge look, Paris, simplistic yet elegant, and America is a mixture. Not everyone is going to love it all, others may cal Americans a bore. Sheesh, who knows. HER STYLE, just isnt eclectic as she says it is.

first, everybody said how we hated on the big girls. now, they say we give the big girls a pass. go back to yesterday’s bombshell. that girl had BEAUTIFUL accessories and shoes that set off her outfits and i think that outweighed the one distasteful pic of her in the white shorts. this girl today has accessories on that look cheap and plain and do not enhance her outfits! this has nothing to do with weight!

She has some hits and misses. She uses lots of bold pieces, including her hair and make up, that just seem to clash. However, i can definitely see her personal style reflect in her outfit so Kudos Ms. Venesha for your individuality and creativity!
PS: i have to agree with some of the comments on the shoes though. I personally dont think the clogs work with the outfits. Perhaps some nude or black pumps will offset your bold clothing choices….just a suggestion
I couldn’t figure out what I didn’t like about this bombshell and I think it’s the colors. Some of the color choices and shades are off. Otherwise I think she’s a pretty girl with good ideas of style. Execution could use a little work.

@star and @ meme think people crucify beautiful women on this site. I actually think the opposite is true. I noticed if a woman (and esp a man) is attractive, the voters are usually more willing to call them a bombshell. If you read the comments its “shes beautiful” or “hes fine” and less about the style. With that, plus size bombshells DEFINITELY get a pass on this site.
As far as today’s bombshell I do not think shes beautiful enough to get “hate” and she’s honestly kind of thick so I don’t know what you guys are trying to get at. Her style looks cheap and all over the place. Period.

The major problem with your look sister is your shoes are dated. Shoes are very important in setting the tone of any look. The style of heel or type of toe is very important.
