” But as I grow up, my style grows with me…”

Bin bag? I love it! (She means a trash bag). At any rate, love your latest looks. So much color, so much verve. And congrats on finishing law school!

  1. Better the first time. You can see she’s in a transition period and not sure where to go

  2. Ok style, nothin special. Everyone is going to say she’s a bombshell because she’s Nigerian. Lol

  3. Congrats on the law degree! I have to say I, like Bebe, prefer the first submission. What happened in a few short months that changed your style so much? The change isn’t crazy drastic, but it does look like two different wardrobes are being shown. I think the first submission made better sense for your figure, which is amazing. I really only love the white jacket and blue trousersin this submission. Any way, best off luck in your career!

  4. My Ghana guy is a big fan of you in that purple dress :) Your style hasn’t evolved per se and that’s not a bad thing since I think your “modern and modest” approach to dressing is timeless. Fav Fit: Yellow wrap top. And I’m Ioving that peplum belt to death.

One thing to watch (and I have this problem too so there’s no hate): shoe fit. Certain shoes tend to squeeze my feet. No amount of insoles, sizing up or down works.

I think It’s a matter of finding the best shape to complement your feet (FBD please do a post on shoe fit *begging*).

For me that tends to be Mary Janish type things, no peep toe, no open backs, etc. Trips to the shoe store are nightmarish. As a lawyer (KUDOS) perhaps look into bespoke footwear. It’s more common in the UK but if you want to do it yourself there’s http://www.shoedesignstudio.com/ or http://www.milkandhoneyshoes.com/

Oh yea…Bombshell :) Then and now. Duh!

  5. Beautiful woman but I prefer her 1st submission. Her style was much more polished then.

  6. ehhh…not impressed. He style just doesnt seem defined…I sense some confusion… NEXT–>

  7. Claire, why’d you stop compiling the pics with the Fashion Bombshell and location including as the first pic? That was such a stamp of approval for us bombshells to share! :-) Bring it back pretty please lol

  8. Like. Went to her blog and really liked the first two outfits posted. Saving it in my favorites!

  9. I have to pass on this submission, her style is all over the place. Too much going on. It looks like things were just thrown on without thought or purpose. I would like to see more polished and cohesive looks in the future. However, I love your smile.

  10. You guys should change the way we vote. I don’t want to insult somebody by calling their style not good but I don’t want to call it incredible just because I don’t want to insult them. Change up the lingo so it always lands on a positive said. These people are already putting themselves out there. Soften the blow.

  11. I love her style, her personality, her ambition and all the above! I have been following her blog for a while now and she always inspires me. Keep up the great work doll!!!!

  12. :/ ….Yeahhhhhhh been following her since her First Submission. Not sure why she selected these outfits. Her blog post are much better and more similar to her 1st FB entry …. And I love your quotes tomi!!! Definitely blog more than fashion pics.

  13. My fave is the black and white ensemble with the pop of color from the red shoe. Beautiful lady and a lawyer two thumbs up! As for style, I like the line about not taking it too seriously but some of the looks would have worked better sans accessories or a diff’ choice of, I’d say work on polishing your presentation.

  14. nice my naija sisto…loved the 1st submission although her complexion seems off the top part of her body is lighter than the bottom maybe just the lighting but my african sisters please stop using skin lighting products and bleaching. my black is beautiful.. proudzimbo

  15. Hits and misses. she has some very nice peices but not sure that theyre assembled well

  16. Hits and misses. Much better the first time round, but the last two outfits this submission are cute. WELL DONE on the law degree!

  17. Everything’s ugly, except some of the jewelry. I’m sorry, but it is. You’re pretty with a nice shape. Please read some Vogue, Marie Clair, Cosmo, etc., fashion magazines and blogs like Fashionbombdaily for inspiration or guidance. Your current style as it is now isn’t working. You look like an “off the boat” immigrant that hasn’t “westernized” her style yet.

  18. why come back and not come back with your best? or why submit twice if your first submission was generally liked and then you come back lackluster? why does FBD accept second time submissions?
