Ok! Some looks are a bit busy for my taste, though you certainly have an eye for color and silhouette.

  1. Those are nice houses in the background…..Atlanta’s real estate…*thumbs up* *continues to sip tea*

  2. I think everything shouldn’t match. Your best look was the brown jacket and jeans. JUST PLEASE STOP MAKING EVERYTHING MATCH!!!!!

  3. I can tell you love clothes. You are very diva like for sure. A for effort…. we have to worry about the fit of our clothes and the quality of our clothes. i would encourage you to get your basic must haves go as high as you can there- quality and price and then mix it up… with that said the yellow leggings.. dont do that again/ burn em.

  4. I like the brown outfit and the chartreuse/gray one. Say no to the bright eyeshadow (orange and blue), the shadow shouldn’t reach to the eyebrows.

  5. Hold my mule?? LMAO, oh boy. I really like those striped wedges. And the Z Phi B dress isn’t that bad it just needs an alternate execution, like place the glitter belt in the far back left of the closet, under a wool sweater and let it stay there for a wee bit.

  6. Overall, it’s evident you are a stylista however some of these pics should have been left on the edit room floor. The only one doing it for me is the mustard blazer and matching shoes. Hair, bag and accessories look great! I think you found it with blazers. Good job!

  7. Please leave the Claires jewelry in CLAIRES for the middle school girls looking for accessories. It gets under my skin when grown women wear plastic color earrings.

  8. ya’ll are harsh. I like that she knows how to dress for her frame/shape. Some outfits were not my taste but the last one is really cute for office/day wear.

  9. 1, the brown floral is cute
    2. everything else needs some major editing
    3. it’s ok not to match everything
    4. take 1 accessory off before you leave the house
    5. I’ll be positive and say that in 6-12 months I would like to see you featured again if your style has improved.

  10. Now wait ya’ll……if she were a more petite woman and make up was more muted you all would be all on her train!!!! I like her look cause she’s a big girl and she’s not scared. Better than the past plus sized bombs that have on a bodycon with all they gut hanging out. Speaking of which….stop going to these sites and telling these heifa they look cute!!! You not helping the struggle at all with that ugly lie!!!! Do ya thang girl….from one big girl to another you a BOMB!!!

  11. Some people can be so cruel! I like how she finds pieces that accentuate her curves. She looks nice to me and for that I voted bombshell.

  12. @Curves And where are you from Pre-K??? Its Confidence…smh I cant …

Anywho, umm….some hits, some misses…..that super blue z phi b space ship turbo fit is NOT poppin!

  13. I like that she plays with color, but sometimes less is more. In her case, learning how to accent and coordinate won’t make her look too exaggerated. I would minimize the amount of accessories-it usually doesn’t translate as “classy.”

  14. @ Curves hunny you have to spell properly to criticize. OOOh thats a bad look…what is “confidents”?

  15. I really tried hard to root for her but its very 90’s and i’m a girl that loves prints and blazers. IN MODERATION. Whew lawd that was alot to take in :-(

  16. I think your matchy-matchy accessories and eye makeup are cheapening your looks.
I really like your floral blazer outfit with the jeans, i also like the watercolor print 1 with the all black outfit, minus the floppy blue hat.

  17. all that matching is the main problem. blue and silver dress with blue and silver shoes with bule bracelet with silver earing with silver belt with blue and silver eyeshadow. and you did that with EVERY outfit. thats your main issue here

  18. I really wanted to like it but…I couldn’t find a single outfit that I enjoyed. She is definitely a beautiful lady, but something just didn’t work for me…Just took another look and the last outfit gets an ok but it doesn’t wow me. She does a fantatasic job fitting her body type just with the wrong color combinations or something.

  19. Okay, after @Curves said “confidents” I had to stop. She looks okay, nothing special- I do love that clutch in the picture with the *ahem* brown beret. That last picture w/the body con skirt is half way cute too.

  20. I think outfits 2, 4, & 7 are very flattering and looks great on her. The rest is fairly colorful, but she seems like she has the personality to pull it off. To each is own so if she feels good, thats all that matters

  21. Her style is kinda country or southern, but I don’t think it is as bad as the votes are letting on. She dresses her body well and I like some of her pieces individually. She should try mixing it up a little and not matching everything from head to toe. I’d nix the frosty eye shadow as well. It dates her.

  22. she did okay it was very slight for a curvy woman however she kind of makes people from down south look bad with all the matching colors and strip shoes… to bama like

  23. I don’t understand why this has to be a southern thing? I’m from the south and everybody doesn’t dress like this. Nice looking girl just to matchy and a slight tacky.

  24. I refuse to take this entry serious. However different strokes for different folks… ( i am one of those different folks) ::coversfaceinshame:: Claire Darling, you are Absolutely wrong for this one honey *snickers* …

Quick Question, is that blue outfit a plus-size power ranger outfit. I can’t

  25. before looking at the location, i can always tell if someone is from atlanta or georgia or the south on these things. the style is always so deliberate and forced. yes, this isn’t a southern thing, but let’s be honest, most southern women dress like this.

  26. The last outfit is okay for her frame and coloring while not taking the matching theme too far.

  27. I looked on her blog and she has some fashion sense, but I think that she is just trying to match everything. Plus, she seems to be trying to look younger, which actually is making her look older. I loved the lime blazer look. She seemed to be confident in that look (plus her hair looked fab there). Hair can make or break an outfit!

  28. Looks like my grandma when she goes overboard on the colorful fashion jewelry. Way too matchy matchy..too much going on… just too much… She has a nice shape though

  29. Sorry…this isn’t it. over accessorized and over colorized…I know I’m making words up…lol! The last outfit is easier on the eye…just needs to balance the accessories out on the top though.

  30. Yes, it is a bit matchy-matchy shes going in the right direction but most times beside the machines, sometimes I feel like of you took away just one or two accessories you would have a perfect look. My favorite is the one with the colorful floral blazer, leggings and pink shoes. That’s all that was needed! Let that blazer speak for it’s self! The earrings and the hat take away from the blazer.

But you don’t have to listen to me. ;)

    Bless

  31. I feel like, as a plus size women when submitting photos to a site like this you HAVE TO BE ON POINT. My mother told me when I was young, you’re over weight so you already have one strike against you. Make sure you are neat in your clothes.

Yes, she’s neat and well put together. However, nothing made me think “Awe…hell yeah, I need to get that RIGHT NOW” Nice looking lady but no where near bomshell

But…she got free advertising for her botique…can’t be mad at her for that! LOL!

  32. Her last look with the mustard color pumps and jacket was her best fit imo. I think she didn’t do too bad aside from what the other ladies stated that it was a little too matchy. but definitely A+ for having the confidence to explore your fashionable side :-)

  33. It’s ovious that she loves fashion. I like that that she’s not afraid of color or print. Over-all, her style was too matchy-matchy and too all over the place for me. Here some advice: Burn your leggings, and just try to keep it simple… Your last look was your best look!!!

  34. I was kind of depressed today…but reading these comments had me DYING laughing! But as this is a “fashion site”…Talesha consider taking some of the comments on board as quite a few offered some really good fashion tips…after all everyone has room to improve!

  35. mamareese it’s not about being petite it was just not good …but she tired … I respect that

  36. Wow you guys are penalizing her for being too matchy matchy? Since when was that a crime ?

  37. I’m shaped very similarly to her, and I must say that when you’re bigger on top…you want to wear fitted pieces on top and looser and freer things on bottom. So the skinny jeans, leggings and body con skirts are killing each look.

  38. I think it’s a matter of editing. The chartreuse blazer outfit was nice but the necklace, earrings and clutch killed it. The jeggings and brown floral blazer are also good but the cut of the pants and length of the shirt draw the eyes to the mid section and no woman wants that…unless you are Gwen Stefani. I would also rethink color blocking with sorority colors. I think you have a good sense of style though.

  39. Pretty girl, actually this look works for her, I voted bombshell. She looks like a diva and I’m sure she’s fun to hang with. I think she needs to just tone it down a bit and definitely get rid of the bright eye shadow.

  40. Mean Girls!!! She gets an A+ for effort and confidence! She has more than I… You ladies are harsh, but great tips.

  41. too busy and borderline clownish…..i wish folk would stop calling overweight people curvy. its fat not curves.

  42. She looks cute in most of these looks. Others, not so much. Overall I’d say she carries herself well and looks cute.

  43. Thanks ladies for all the comments, whether negative, bad, or nice, I appreciate them all!! I love myself, my style and no one else’s opinion matters. My husband loves my style so that’s all that matters!! SMOOOCHESS!! :)

  44. I’m a say Fashion Buster. It just didn’t work for me it was too…”I’m going to see Kings of Comedy-ish”.

  45. Ouch, i just hope shes strong enough to read these comments. Just take it as constructive criticism……U have great confidence which means great potential.

  46. @hotmama….really? Clearly you don’t understand the term “PC”…google it hun. And furthermore she IS curvy…just because a woman is a 16….or 20 and up does not mean she’s “fat”. Truth be told some of these women you call “fat” werk a outfit wayyy better than someone skinny. Label me offended….I’m “fat” and pull more men, dress better than my skinny friends and actively go to the gym…this could be the same case with Talesha….you assuming and ish……ugh.

  47. SOME OF YA’LL JUST STRAIGHT UP B*TCHES! IF BRINGING SOME ONE DOWN BRING YOU PLEASURE IN LIFE YOUR A SICK B*TCH OR MITCH! I DONT THINK HER STYLE IS HORRIBLE SOME OF YALL MAKE IT SEEM AS IF SHES THE WORST ON HERE WHICH IS NOT TRUTH, YOU GUYS VOTE BETTER FOR WORST PEOPLE JUST LIKE I SAID BEING TO MATCHY MATCHY ANIT A FASHION CRIME AT ALL. I LIKE HER STYLE KEEP DOING YOU GIRL AS LONG AS YOUR HAPPY THEN THATS ALL THAT MATTERS

  48. THERE’S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONSTRICTIVE CRITICISM AND JUST BEING A BULLY, IF YOU DONT LIKE HER STYLE JUST SUGGEST HOW SHE CAN IMPROVE IT HOW HARD IS DOING THAT???,

  49. I def like her simple outfits… especially the last outfit. Her simple looks are very polished and flattering of her beautiful shape. Being from down south I look at curvy woman and see STRENGTH not fat. Even tho I am small, I come from a line of woman who are curvy and beautiful and it’s nothing to be ashamed of or to be criticized for! You are working it, and CONFIDENCE is the best garment a lady of class can wear! *two snaps for this fashion BOMBSHELL*

  50. True, some of the comments on here are harsh but there are some consistent constructive critiques that our bombshell can, and should, incorporate.

  51. I have to agree this is a southern look and NO not everyone in the south dresses so matchy but its an accurate assumpation. She has passion for fashion and thinks matching is a safe bet. Its not. I had a girlfriend tell me that all that matchy looks “ghetto” a better word would be unrefined. With work her look can be really nice.

  52. Some of it was cute, but I just shook my head when she said her style is classy and sophisticated and 5 secs later I scrolled down to see a rainbow top with those big bright yellow earrings. No ma’am that is not classy nor sophisticated that’s tacky. I did like the brown blazer look, and the look with the green blazer & grey skirt. I even liked that bright patterned top with the black leggings if she didn’t put on that silly hat with it. Like people said her style would be much better if it wasn’t so basic i.e. matchy matchy. Also a few neutrals every now and then never hurt no body.

  53. ALSO, her makeup is one color shy of rainbow brite (and I mean that in the harshest of ways)

  54. @truth Teller being matchy matchy IS a fashion crime. Its very 90’s and its 2013..come on now. It doesn’t have to match it just has to “GO”..there is a difference. I liked the look with the brown floral blazer though..

  55. @jillilbooboo girl boo. Lets see what you look like..lol the ones to criticize are probably have no room to talk which I’m sure it’s you…lol the point is I submitted my photos and got selected..lets see u do the same!

@Dria it’s a crime when you are 30+.. Everybody not into mix match and looking like a clown.

  56. @talesha, you were chosen to generate site traffic because your look is so obviously horrendous. Notice how there are only over 100 comments on the truly disgraceful entries? You, my dear, have peaked at 107.

  57. @jilllillbooboo like I said I’m sure ur a hotness.com. It really don’t matter what ur opinion is or nobody else’s because my husband LOVES it.. Pow! Now I’m done! Thanks for your input! I appreciate you! Be blessed!

  58. @ Talesha you’re not mixing and matching yet you still manage to look slightly clownish as proven by several of your pics…. perhaps pairing colors that go together, as opposed to matching your items perfectly, might go a long way in making you look more refined boo. I’m sorry that matchy matchy ish is just basic.com, if one wants to upgrade their style they have to let go of that mentality.

  59. @really thanks but no thanks. I like being basic. It works for me especially at my age. I am not a teenager that at need to draw attention to myself with stuff all over the place. Thanks for your input. NEXT.. Be blessed

  60. @chioma, are you talking about my store? If so I may just do that because I was thinking the same thing.

  61. @ talesha but you wore that rainbow brite outfit (big, yellow, & cheap earrings included) as well as that z phi b star trooper dress because you wanted to be age appropriate and not have any attention on you huh? Sure you did lol

  62. @really doe girl get a life.. Ur are really pressed arent you.. just leave it alone already and go find some confidence somewhere. U at not hurting my feelings not ONE bit boo boo..lol

  63. Talesha…. getting on here and being defensive really isn’t helping your cause. If your husband’s approval is all that matters, why did you submit your pictures to a public website where your fashion (or lack thereof) can be critiqued and rated?

  64. @ Liz-Drops a bomb on that, ’cause that’s exactly what I was thinking. Obviously it does matter.
@Talesha don’t be embarrased and defensive now, you submitted the pics so deal.
On the bright side, I’m sure you got a bunch of hits on your site :-) *leans in and whispers* Between you and me you don’t look that great though. Atleast you still try, given your age and all. Blessings!

  65. @Talesha yes ma’am. I love the pieces on there, but the doors, door knobs, and pink leopard print background don’t reflect your product; it’s a bit distracting. You’re definitely off to a good start though! Good luck!

  66. Yea Talesha is tacky…not just style wise…her going back & forth with readers is NOT classy or sophisticated at all.

  67. I commend her for knowing shape and what looks good on her. The outfits just seem forced as if she was applying rules them. I mean those striped boots sent me over the edge. It’s absolutely ok to not match your shoes to your bag……..or your jacket. No, Ma’am!

  68. FOR ALL THOSE WHO MUST HATE ON MY SISTER PLEASE HAVE A SEAT… JUST BECAUSE UR “WETSEAL” AND FOREVER 21 CLOTHES DIDNT GET U A BOMBSHELL OF THE DAY SPOT DOESNT MEAN YALL CAN HATE THIS HARD IF YOU DONT LIKW WHAT SHE GOT ON PLEASE HUSH UP N MOVE TO THE NEXT PICTURE…. EVERYBODY WHO KNOWS MY SISTER KNOWS SHE IS A DRESSING SISTER WHO COULD CARE LESS WHAT A HATER HAS TO SAY… NOT EVERYBODY TRIES TO DRESS LIKE A CLOWN OR TRY TO BE DIFFERENT WHEN YALL REALLY JUST TRYNA KEEP UP.. SIS YOU KEEP DOIN YOU AND WEARING WHATEVER YOU WAN MATCHY AND ALL.. I LOVE YOU N MISS YOU KISS MANNIE N BUDDY FOR ME :) O YEAH BYE HATERS!

  69. @Natalie ummm. I think you could’ve just sent your sister a text message saying that. She came on this website to be judged….whether good or bad. I don’t think people are hating if they honestly do not like something.
